Morning all. I have put banana on the shopping list in case of any passing wolves. Not that I have any grandmas that I need to stop them eating, but it seems like the polite thing to do.

The sun is also out here and the forecast is mid 20's <wilt> I had a very banal dream last night, that I can't remember. Shopping with DH maybe? <shrug> FMLackOfHBFs.

Afternoon. Very warm here but no sun. I went to town this morning and did the jobs I wanted to do yesterday. Am now knackered.

I have been working and washing and that's about it. I was meant to be doing some spreadsheet stuff and totally haven't. FML. Also, due to the washing today, no-one has a bed made up. <le long-suffering sigh> DS has just been mugged by IntelligentCat, who has snuggled up on him. Bwahahah. That foiled his plans, but also means he can't help with beds, because the cat cannot be moved.

Morning wenches. Same as LetUs, except for washing. I also have IdiotKitten occasionally clamping onto my wrist and having a nibble/lick while he decides if he wasn't to kill me or lick me or just cling on with his claws daft creature. Grooming himself is winning at the moment and I've extracted my arm from his grip.

Need to get a wiggle on and get dressed and out the door.

Afternoon. No sun here . It is warm though.

Oh dear, slight mishap on the golf course. The maintenance guys were strimming the edges, finding stray golf balls and throwing them onto the fairway. DH and his mates were picking them up, DH wasn't watching his trolley and it rolled away - into a lake. It would have stopped after 50 yards, but this was less. In his bag was his phone, various controllers, jumpers, gloves, hats, towels, Wolfie headcover and other bits and pieces. It's all in the washing machine now, well, not the phone. Honestly, he's a walking disaster.

It's been sunny all day here. We may have rain tonight, but of the 'chucking it down torrentially for a few minutes' variety. Fancy (and others) may get thunder though.

Morning. I heard the rain start at 1:30am <yawns, props eyelids open> - spatter, spatter... <silence> spatter...<silence> spatter, spatter, downpour. Then I fell asleep. We've had 4-5mm. Which is a good amount for getting things nicely damp, but not much else. Outside is damp and steamy <nlt> and vaguely tropical.
How is the thunder-and-lightning report elsewhere?

DS has gone off to school with a summer cold, feeling v. sorry for himself.

Suppose I’d better get on with the responsible adult stuff of breakfast and chivvying to school and going to work. So overrated.

We had quite an intense storm here - impressive lightning that was quite close although the thunder wasn't window rattlingly loud. A good downpour too (sorry helen)

DH's phone has had it and his rangefinder thing, everything else is alright. It was already in the lake when he realised. It must have looked hilarious as he rolled up his trousers and got into the lake while his friends helped to haul it out.

Eeeek at spiders, DH found one in the bath the other day. Don't know if Misty is a good spider catcher yet.

Yay for thunder storm Fancy, we didn't get one.

We're going out for a meal later to celebrate DGD's 15th birthday. Where have the years gone?
