Sounds a nice way to spend the day Fancy. Pleased the weary feeling lifted.

Bit dull here although I can see blue skies so perhaps we’ll have the reverse of yesterday when I started sunny and warm and ended with me feeling quite chilly at work.

FMAL. Sodding MN and not posting messages. (Obviously it's not me not posting them. Nope. )

Did the work thig yesterday and then went out the the theatre in the evening which was fun - apart from the World'sTallestMan who sat in front of me <le sigh> Fortunately he swapped places with his 'plus one' after the interval, so the pain was inflicted on my neighbour. A small ounce of appreciation and thanks would have been nice from DS, who is being A Teenager. (He said 'thank you' very nicely later, after DH prompted him.) We also managed to avoid turning a deer into roadkill on the way home, thanks to DH reactions and good brakes on the car

This morning I had more feathers to clear up and have discovered that KillerKitty has made himself a nice nest in the flowerbed directly beneath the brid table. (He's not that stupid.) I've been out and pulled up some plants to remove his camouflage and make him more obvious to the feathery things and hopefully spoil his fun a bit.

Afternoon. Back in the office & admiring the drizzle outside -maybe the water butt will fill up beyond tap level so I can draw some water. I am not holding my breath.

Well spotted helen, let's hope that works. I am noticing that the birds in my garden are being quite bold (or desperate!) at the moment so am dreading what ScaredyCat may bring in. FancyCat is still being kept in, so the wildlife is safe, but not sure of the rest of us - she won't jump up still but is attacking every ground level cardboard box she sees.

Afternoon. Nice day, I went and had a bit of a tidy up in the garden as it’s bin day tomorrow. DH was at DS’s still building the log cabin. I’ll be glad when it’s done, he’s driving me mad with what he’s been doing and what he’s going to do.

Evening all. I suspect that KillerKitty will find other place to hide in the jungle that passes for our garden. Ho hum. I think that KillerKitty and FancyCat could bond over cardboard box shenanigans - when not killing each other of course.

We had some rain this morning as well - enough to make the roof look wet, but not puddles or suchlike.

Agreed re. updates from DHs all about how much they've done. It's a bit like having a toddler sometimes - "Look at me!!!!! Look what I did!!!" <grimaces smiles wearily>

Afternoon. Absolutely chucking it down this morning. It stopped just in time for me to do the food shop. I also had my fourth jab and my arm is really painful already. It was the Moderna so I‘ve had the full set now.
