I have searched the FAF files, and I'm sure I had Peter Quinn once but I can't find him, so you'll have to make do with alternative decorations.

It is very wet in the land of the in-laws, but no HBFs there are some cracking Christmas light displays.

Hope that every wench has safe travels (fancy) and got xmas prep. and bits and pieces under control (LetUs) I have just peeled potatoes, so I have contributed (DH and MIL are doing prep in the kitchen and if I try to fit in there too, it won't work. Oh, the hardship .

A day of washing and lazing and jigsawing, followed by an evening out at LittleSis’s for her birthday.

Had a lovely day yesterday. Supposed to be a DD's today but she's spent the morning in A&E with an infected cyst on her back which has gone into an abscess and has had to be lanced. We're still going round but son-in-law will be cooking, rather later than planned.

Have done washing, homework with DS2, then took brilliantly bonkers IL relatives round to LittleSis’s house for a visit. Back home and I think I’ll spend some time jigsawing.

Afternoon wenches, Happy Day After Boxing Day!

Well, I was cooking for 11 today, but it's all gone wrong. DS's GF has been with someone who has today tested positive, and although we were at their house on Saturday we feel it's pushing it to see them all day today. So I'm down to 5 now as DS won't be seeing the DGC either.

I've changed DD's dressing this morning as her DH didn't feel confident enough to do it and was worried he would hurt her. Poor kid has a huge hole in her back which is packed with gauze stuff, but they're coming round for lunch so she doesn't have to do anything.

Yay for fika with neighbours, birthday celebrations and HBFs in bed.
