Nothing would dry today, nothing. There was no sun, just cloud and mist and glooooooooooom.

I did work, was very knackered, and fell asleep on the sofa. Rock'n'Roll, etc.

Work was, well, like work still, that may buy me a reprieve before Christmas for one deadline. It's all chaotic to be frank, a year of too much work and now people off with covid, or staying at home in case their cold is covid, or staying at home so they don't catch covid and ruin their Xmas plans. It's a good job there are deadline extensions due to covid is all I can say.....

Cold has eased a lot today thanks, have just had a sinus-clearing curry and will be cracking open some fizz in a minute. In the absence of hbfs, that will have to be my end of week reward.

Afternoon. I've wrapped the grand total of one present. Ah well, it's a start. I haven't got much to do. DH and I don't bother with each other and the DC etc. get money so there's only the DGC to do.

DH has been karchering the terrace and ended up doing the side of the house. I think he's still out there now.

Morning all. Bonkers dreams last nigth - Fancy has a collection of edible crabs living under her bed You just have to catch them in a cloth (to avoid getting nipped) and then you've got a meal.

It's damp and misty and cloudy again today. No sun. meh. I need to finish wrapping.

Although it's a long time since I hoovered under there, so who knows?!

It is a bit foggy here, so far done very little except fed the compost bin - temperature was just over 35 degrees which I'm pleased about for December. Will do a bit of work, then take DS for his vaccination. DD is due home later as she has her booster tomorrow.

I have no idea re compost bin temperatures but that does sound good Fancy.

Don’t think the fog lifted all day. Knitted gifts finished and I’m quite pleased with them. Presents wrapped = 0.

I've done no more wrapping. FFS I have no idea what I have done. Tidied up a bit. I need a box or something to pack up the presents, and I'm not finding one. That's the problem.

I like the sound of 35 degrees - sauna in Fancy's compost with the HBFs? (Might not be quite hot enough, but I'm sure the HBFs can help with that) Hope that FancyDS doesn't have any after effects from the jab.

Well done on the knitting LetUs. My present boxing/wrapping has been derailed by stupidKitten who has eaten one of the cardboard boxes...

Morning all. I have to play taxi this morning. Plus post the kitten-chewed nicely wrapped parcels.

Afternoon, DS seems to have suffered very little in the way of side effects and is feeling good, DD had her booster today and we then had lunch. Now contemplating some chores before tackling the ironing this evening. Not so much a mountain of ironing, more of a mountain range.....Still, I have the series one finale of Homeland to watch and it's double length, so that will keep me entertained.

Afternoon. I had to go to the dentist this morning for a totally unnecessary x-ray. He'll just tell me that my jawbone is still losing its grip on my teeth and there's nothing to be done about it.

I've also received an appointment from the hospital for a heart scan. It's only been 9 months since my last one. Most people can't get appointments with doctors and dentists, mine won't leave me alone. Aarrgh!

Also went to Sainsbury's for the food shop and everyone in the area seemed to have the same idea. I've thought of some things I've forotten so will have to go back, but I've got all the main stuff.

Yay for boosters and tree going up.

We're out for a meal with friends tonight.

Have a fab meal apricot and yay for getting the shopping done, always a bit of a chore when the shops are heaving.
