FFS wenches, I feel like I'm doing a one-woman tour of covid symptoms. Today we're not bothering with the nausea so much, but doing the whole 'my head isn't quite attached properly/is too big to fit in my head' weirdness. This is fine by StupidCat of course, because it means I've been in bed with her most of the day.

And it's cloudy and dull and rainy and generally depressing outside. FFS and all that.

Helen I know that feeling, although it sounds as though your symptoms are worse than mine were - fingers crossed you escape the loss of smell, that was freaky!

This morning's lovely start was a splitting headache, then feeling . I'm having some food now - kill or cure, etc. There was a nice sunrise though.

Went to Curry's this morning to get a new iPad, mine's about 7 years old. A lot of the apps won't update and it keeps freezing. They won't have any in for 2 months. Amazon's the same.

Morning. It's bright and sunny here (because I didn't get up until 8am) though my computer thinks that it's raining I'm supposed to be tentatively going back to work today. I think I'll leave 'out of office' on and try to clear out some emails later on, in between little lie-downs. Getting up and doing chickens has left me a little spaced out.

Afternoon/Evening. Bitterly cold out. I went to the dentist for a check-up and was frozen when I got back.

Nothing else really. DGS is here but without his friend so all is quiet.

Good lord the rain! DS2 and I were super lucky when we went shopping after school though and only got cold rather than cold and wet.

I spent the morning in snoozing bed again, which I think qualifies as taking it easy. I did managed 45 minutes of work this afternoon, which was more than enough.

Fortunately I don't think we've had rain today - there's already standing water on the marshes, we don't need any more.

I had the plumber over today since the water tap in the laundry room had frozen because of the bloody cold. I was really scared the pipes would burst It’s all sorted now, hopefully.
