Oh those sort of dreams are so annoying Wicked - you just wake up feeling stressed and anxious. My version of that is usually being back at university with no clue of where my room is or what my timetable is.

In other comments, FFS at your work LetUs - can you not find somewhere better to work, where they're not idiots, and actually appreciate you and don't expect you to do work that isn't actually yours (or at least cover your work when you're short-staffed)? It's not like you're not good at your job, and the HBFs will all agree that you're very talented and flexible.

Are the lights multicoloured apricot (DH is talking about getting some lights out here.)

Morning. This post is being typed inbetween KillerKitten attacks He spent the start of the morning curled up in my dressing gown, and is now bored and daft and wants food-that-isn't-the-muck-in-his-bowl. Well he can whistle for that - or go and catch mice.

DH woke me up snoring at 5am so I'm a bit wabbit. He also woke me at some point in tthe night, complaining that he couldn't sleep. Thinking about it, I should have transferred to the spare room for a cold, but covid-free night of peace and quiet, but ho hey! hum.

I have those dreams WW sometimes in my old school or in shopping centres. I usually end up in a part of town I don't recognise and I'm walking for miles trying to find where I am. Wake up exhausted.

2024 for TB's film???? at South Wales. Yes, multi-coloured lights, same as we've had for the last goodness knows how many years. The DC always moan that we never have anything different, but we like them.

My getting lost dreams are usually in my old workplace which did have a lot of staircases, or a random old-fashioned hotel.

Gosh I’m a bit tired. Woke up twice in the night for the loo and on the first visit felt really sick so went back to bed and just lay really really still. Went to sleep eventually and then felt better.

But apricot it's not even December yet - it does look cheerful though

Morning wenches. Woe, woe and woe again. That's everyone in the house with Covid now. Still - it's a good excuse to go back to bed (once I've fed the chickens).

The weather is utterly foul - I though that we were past the strong winds and stuff, but apparently not. I was expecting to see trees down once I could actually see outside, but everything looks upright so far (said the wench to the HBF ).

On the plus side - I remembered to set up advent calendars last night. Go me.

Afternoon. Rain on and off all day.

We are early Fancy, I was a bit when I saw DH getting the stuff down from the loft. We would normally do it second week of December, but it's done now. I decorated the tree in the dining room this morning.

Also hope WW is better from feeling sick and LetUs's arm is improving.

Safe to say the booster has not been kind to me. Not ideally, had to do an extra hour at work but then got into a hot bath when I got home, after overseeing maths homework on my iPad. Am dosed up with paracetamol so hopefully I’ll be right after a good sleep.

Sounded like the end of days last night (though without thunder) - turned out that the howling wind had brought hail with it, hence the noise. Today I am mostly feeling rough. Woe, woe, tiny violin, etc. If this is it with being double-jabbed, then I don't want to think how bad covid would have made me feel without the vaccination

Eeek at the noisy weather Helen. Poor you and the rest of ChezHelen. Sort of telling myself the same thing re booster side effects - would be worse to have it, would be even worse to have it unvaccinated.

Felt much better at work but then flagged a bit by mid-afternoon. Early night again I think with drugs at the ready upstairs so DH doesn’t have to go downstairs to get them for me like the sweetie he can be.

Urgh. Wish we'd had nice weather. It's still cloudy, cold and damp here. Nice weather might have inspired me to get myself outside in the fresh air a bit more.

We've just watched the Russell Crowe Robin Hood film. It's very silly.

I think that a lot of the videos on the advent calendar don't work any more. I did have the links somewhere, I'll see if I can dig them out.
