Average day at work, but then came home to disappointing post (current investigations re autism) re DS2, then homework with DS2, then other shit. So I’m tired and DH will say “shall we watch something?” and I’ll not want to and he’ll make a little face and I’ll want to tell him to get a fucking grip.

Questionnaires sent nearly a year ago and then re-sent in May because new paediatrician didn’t have them (because they hadn’t been sent to him) don’t score sufficiently high enough for autism, etc. Though speech therapist recommended it go to panel. No idea where we go next. Bedtime now though.

Morning all. CuteKitten is hyper and the living embodiment of chaos again. He is not outside rampaging, because the airlock system of moving through the house (i.e. shutting him in rooms) didn't work with Stupid Cat being too slow to move, and he's already barrelled through the catflap again as well. It's like a Benny Hill sketch trying to catch the little sod. He goes one way and then doubles back past at top speed. It's really quite funny to watch irritating.

Didn’t sleep well. Leg and foot cramps and now I have a headache. Short day though but hoping to do exercisething as DS2 says he’s going to an after school club.

Morning all. It's sunny and forecast to stay that way, so I left the washing out on the line last night.

Cute Kitten has ben rampaging outside and killing mice (or one at least, so far) which had made him very happy. He's currently kneading and purring on my dressing gown. And occasionally reaching a paw up very gently to touch my face. Tote adorbs, as no-one says any more (or do they? I have no idea) Oh. and now he's gone into Killer!Kitten mode. Tote NOT adorbs

Bright and sunny but a bit cool outside this morning. Hello Autumn. I have my first (small) pot of pears stewing on the hob. It's going to be an awful year for fruit though - most of the pears have gone rotten on the tree and we're low on most of the apple trees. Horrific thought - we may need to buy apples

CuteKitten has been cycling through Cute and Killer modes. He's currently asleep (or dozing) in the dining room.

Afternoon/evening. Feeling a bit meh.

The plumber was going to arrive at 8 in the morning, 7.30 someone banged on the door, I was still in bed, turned out it was the chimney sweep, I mean WTF!
Anyway turned out the wood burner upstairs isn't registered so I'm not allowed to use that one apparently, it's going to be a bit more chillier this winter in my TV room than I expected I guess. Didn't know about that. Great.
Anyway the plumber showed up after the chimney sweep left and fixed the water pump I've been worrying about. Turned out it wasn't at big deal to fix so that's good.
I also ordered som stuff online and got an sms today that I can collect the parcel ... at my old adress, about one hour from here. I did change the f-ing adress when I orderered it
And I also had a short power cut.

How is everyone else doing?

Afternoon wenches. Weather not too bad here. We've spent the afternoon up a Welsh hill at the Mach Loop where the RAF and USAF train their pilots in low level flying. It's very hit and miss, you don't know whether anything will go through and have 10 seconds warning of planes in the area. We were lucky to see 2 Hercules, but I really wanted to see the American F-15s, the modern day Top Guns, but they didn't oblige, although we did see two of them flying high over the caravan this morning.

Anyway, that's us. Sorry to hear of your problems WW. What a pain.

Also many cwtches to LetUs, you do seem to be having a rough time at the moment.

I've had another day of work, fairly tedious, though one good result, so yay for that. Sunset was beautiful though. I also picked some apples (see previous comments).

Evening. Utter travel chaos yesterday getting home and then my guests took me out for dinner which was a nice end to the day at least.

Am officially pooped and have to swap my days next week, so no long weekend for me. Hopefully the one after that will be extra long though
