Builders have turned up and apparently we have less snow than them, so they're happy bunnies.

Apparently I didn't post this this morning... Not much to report though. Chickens are spending time outside again, so I know the weather is nicer. erm... yep. That's it.

The robins have been fed and I'm not being watched today so all is good!

Afternoon. Nice day, but still very cold.

The scan was a bit of an ordeal. A young chap who looked about 20 did it. He was a bit heavy handed with my ribs and I'd got a valved mask on which was a bit difficult to breathe through. I think he was a trainee as he had to call a colleague in at the end because there were 'a few bits he couldn't get to' and she had to do some of it again. Anyway, it's done. I came home, chucked my clothes in the washer and had a shower - second one today - so hope I didn't bring anything back with me.

Weird night, couldn’t sleep cause I was hungry so had some leftover pizza at midnight. The bloody cat woke me up at 5 and I got hungry again so had to have some more leftover pizza before I could sleep

Builders made good progress today, with more looks at the rafters and comments about how they can add more wood to fix the new plasterboard and level the ceiling up It's all good fun.

Work was ok.

Took Inconvenient Cat to the vet today

We watched Rebecca last night with Armie Hammer, haven't seen him in anything before. I can see why he's a wench favourite.

Today's builders soundtrack was the slightly less reassuring sound of them debating how to fix one of the problems then unearthed. "How about..." "What if..." "If we just..." Oh well, they're done for the week now and we only have a minor howling draught blowing through the house - on the coldest weekend of the year so far.

We're still bingeing on Death in Paradise (and recording the Stonehenge documentary). Hope that LetUs's bath'n'bed'early night with HBFs is going to plan, and that Wicked's enjoying her big party night with HBFs

Morning. Blue skies and sunshine today, but still permafrost underfoot this morning and the bird bath is a frozen lump of water again. Should be a nice day for a walk though - if a bit chilly!

I have 'watched' Donkey Punch now. As in, I watched the start, fast-forwarded through a lot, actually skipped some more completely, and then watched the last 10 minutes. Apricot - did you ever watch 'Blood Sugar'? I couldn't find it on Vimeo, beyond a trailer.

Didn't see much of the robins yesterday - think it was too windy for them to be out more than they had too - bugger me it was cold I went for a walk with FancyMan, yikes my hands were cold!

Armie was a definite favourite apricot but some really nasty allegations about him have been in the news which have rather dampened my liking.
