We have no snow, but it's bloody cold and there's been a heavy ground frost, so all is crunchy underfoot. Came downstairs to see the moon setting all pinky in the west and an orange sun rising in the east. Very cold pretty morning.

Am hungry... will put some porridge on to soak I think. It's definitely a hunkering day but also a 'wrap up like the michelin man and go for a walk' day.
