Morning. Yes Fancy - Lucifer is based on the Neil Gaiman character in the same way that FancyCat is based on the Top Cat character (same name, both cats). i.e. not very much in common. I will have to ignore the connection or it will irritate me. I did finish watching Picard last night - it was quite good, though the ending was entirely cheesy and predictable. (Or course it was - it's Star Trek.) Santi was also Hot. (But not as hot as Athos - obvs.) Amazon Prime tells me that I can start watching Lucifer as well. However the weather and the garden are competing for my time at the moment.

I think I must just know about True Blood, but not seen it. at clothes retention indicating the importance of characters.

I have just answered a phone call, and concluded with, "I'll come over just now", so I need to go and do Things... (unexciting things, but things, nonetheless)

So true blood is not a teenage vampire thing. That's the first thing to know. It's got a fabulously dark and sexy theme tune. Set in the Deep South and fabulously dark and sexy and grown up. Lots of shagging.

The vampire including the Scandi one all have pale faces and red rimmed eyes which makes them slightly less hot. The nice one, Bill is quite fanciable though. He was my main crush for a while as his southern manners are pretty sexy. Eric (Scandi one) is very tall and wears tight pants (maybe even leather though I could be imagining that part). So all good there though he's a bastard.

The main actress Anna Paquin is a properly good award winning actress. The other characters are pretty good. Interesting and decent plot lines for them.

The werewolves etc don't come in till later. Alcide is huge and hunky and to die for and the plot line doesn't include Sukie (main character) shagging him (except maybe once) which I found highly improbable. Because you so would. He's a mills and boon fantasy with extra sexiness.

The brother is stupid AF so I couldn't get too excited about him though he is hot. Sam (bar owner) wears his clothing most of the time if memory serves. But still gorgeous. Again highly improbably plot as he doesn't appear to be covered in women. If there was a bar owner that looked like that in the south there would be women everywhere.

So all in all a good watch. For grown ups. Not one for the kiddies..

MrsG hurrah for enjoying TM. However, given the previously mentioned issues of Aramis' unavailability, I suggest you simply add him to your list of 'things to do' and keep your options open on Dave. Though obviously, if you're done with Dave then I think he's other peoples' lists as well, so he won't go to waste

Afternoon. Sunny and warm here. DD & Co. went up in a helicopter this afternoon as a birthday treat for DGS. She says the pilot was lovely to him and let him sit up front and hold the controls.

I haven't seen True Blood and I have no idea who any of them are, but I've led a sheltered life. I think we watched The Little Drummer Girl, but can't remember it.

I only saw true blood because India knight was raving about it in the times. Normally I would give that kind of thing a swerve. Also a huge fan of the Mentalist. The main protagonist has got pots of charm though not as immediately hot as Aramis. But then who is? It's a great program too.

Evening wenches. I have exercised, got hair cut, lots of washing, “reminded” DS2 about his homework, and been out for a family meal. The food was delicious but the general loveliness of it all was somewhat diluted by a chap at the next table who felt it necessary to sing along to the music that was being played. Also whistling. Prick.

Hope you got all the things done Helen. I know without asking that DH won’t be interested in True Blood so I’ll be able to appreciate it on my own.

It is indeed a bloody long one LetUs. So was the film It was good fun though. me and DS enjoyed it. For some reason I thought it was on C5, or similar.

MrsG - we do not discuss the plot. It doesn't always bear too much examination, so best not to worry about it. Basically, just roll with it them (in the hay - or wherever you prefer) Episode summary: there is a problem & peril! Musketeers are FAF and save the day - hurrah!!!
