Morning all. Another lovely and sunny day, so I'm back stuck in the spare room.

No shooting this morning and the geese are all avoiding that field.

Today I’m taking DS1 shopping. What are the chances of us leaving the house before 9.30am?

Just picturing the geese talking to each other “I’m not going in that field, you go” “I’m not going. You go” etc etc.

DH has been going on about getting someone to sort the pointing on the house, so what he’s done is phone the number —that I got from my parents— and arrange for this chap to come up this afternoon when he won’t be back from work so I have to deal with it. And then I’ll relay what was said and he’ll be all why didn’t you ask this, did he not say that. In future, arrange stuff for when you’ll fecking well be here.

I’d better get showered and then try to persuade DS1 to get up —by squirting him with water—

Morning all.. been lurking but too tired to actually write anything! Looooonnnggg days nose at the grindstone and my new talent of 'insomnia' making the days even longer. Sleep deprivation just is not working... though thanks to a Thai antihistamine I got 9 hours (and can't wake up) last night.

No FAF yet (watched Des last night after enjoying David Tennant in Staged so much) and unspecific crime stuff other nights. Time for the jolllity and gorgeousness of TM tonight I think! I'm not very good at watching just for the FAFF (new acronym?) fit as fuck factor) so fingers crossed it's good telly too!

It's all good TV MrsG - so good in fact that I didn't really notice the FAF when I first started watching it - it was only when the first thread started on MN that I paid a bit more attention to the eye candy.

DH has accidentally got Amazon Prime again - I could finish watching SantiPicard and his technicolour accents! Or I could just slump on the sofa doing not very much.

PS - geese are still laying low.

Shopping went mostly okay —once I’d nagged DS1 out of bed—. There seems to be too much stuff and not enough stuff all at the same time. I don’t even know how that’s possible.

Lucifer, oh yes I like that too. Mmm. I was also a big True Blood fan if anyone knows it? It's a multiple totty program. Something for everyone.

So the pointing man didn't turn up after all that LetusPray? I nearly did a bit of googling to give you some good questions to ask him, just to mess with this (probably sexist) head a bit.. but he couldn't be arsed turning up! Typical.

Instead of googling I got caught up bathing the river fox pre work, as a rare treat for her (some of my steak and ale pie at the pub on weds) had very unpleasant consequences. For both of us.

And the geese are clearly a lot smarter than most birds. I bet they could eat steak and ale pie without consequences.

I haven’t done True Blood. I seem to think Helen has watched it but I could be making that up. Or was it Apricot? Or no one? Basically I don’t know

We had similar with roofers earlier this year. Lots of no shows. There were a couple I spoke with in DH’s absence, one of whom was a bit on the patronising side, the other wasn’t. Guess who got the work?

Gosh the first episode of True Blood appears to have somehow downloaded itself for me watch at my leisure. Funny how that happens isn’t it? Alexander Skarsgard was in that The Little Drummer Girl too on the BBC. He was very good. A fine actor 😇

I confess I do not miss the days of CatVom.

Can’t think what happened to Lucifer Fancy. Probably the same thing as when I tell myself that if I go out for the exercisething, Brandon will join me and then we can shower together after to save water. Help the planet and all that. Never happens.
