We have a forecast of light rain showers today. Looking outside, I think the weather may be a little confused as to the definition given there appears to be a small river running down the middle of the street.

There’s confirmed Covid at DS1’s university which doesn’t exactly come as a surprise.

So I think the best thing to do is stay in the Tav with wenches and the HBFs and scroll through Fancy’s FAF folder

It was starting to rain when I did the chickens this morning. Then stopped so I went out on my bike Then it started again. I think it's going to be on and off all day. (I would say 'like wenches clothes when the FAF is about', but I think clothes would just stay off in those circumstances).

It's actually quite bright here, if it stays that way I may be able to bring that washing in from last week.

I got some washing out inbetween showers - got it in just before it started raining, which was a bit of a win! Should dry fairly fast indoors now.

It’s rained allllll day. Really quite heavy at times which sounds even worse at work as some of the rooms have skylights and it gets very loud.

Got a text from DS1 this morning. He’d already had a lecture and done two loads of washing! Was wondering if he was feeling quite alright and then he told me the fire alarm had gone off at 3.30am and he went outside in his pj shorts, forgetting to put on dressing gown and slippers, and was quickly feeling very cold. Yep, he’s fine

Starving again now though and waiting for tea.

Been feeling rather tired and crappy this evening. DH had the darts on. DS2 been a bit of a PITA. DH has gone to supervise DS2 going to bed and I’ve decided to check the other channels. Got to BBC4 and there’s my lovely Simon in Australia. I’m feeling miraculously perked up

Never heard of Sinner either Mind you, there’s so many up and coming young players, there’s loads I’ve never heard of.

I’m still going with Troubled Blood but very much enjoying it.

We have white cloud according to the forecast. Nope, pissing it down again.

Anyway, short day so hurrah for that.

Still busy, but at least the work is going ok so far.

I did manage to get the washing in last night. And watched Ghosts - the episode where Fanny develops a crush bloody brilliant - her & Mary really make me laugh

Afternoon. Bit dull here, but no rain.

I've been to the dentist for a 'deep clean' of the gum that didn't respond to the recommended mouthwash or the antibiotics. I was treated to the vile tasting stuff to numb the gum, then the cotton wool roll thingy and then the non-adrenalin local anaesthetic (because of the medication I'm on) which only lasts for a quarter of an hour and often wears off before he's finshed. And I'm now back to salt rinses three times a day. Uuurrggh!

Yay for sunshine, if it lasted, short day, work going well, and finished TB.

I’ve just finished watching that episode Fancy! Fanny’s expressions are brilliant . My heart went out to the Captain.

Might have an early night with TB because DH is being very low level irritating (not on purpose) and I don’t want to snap at him later and tell him to fuck off.
