I agree with WW that you should start with The Musketeers MrsG. All 30 episodes are currently available on BBC iPlayer. That's how we all got together in the first place. It's been six years of mayhem enjoyable appreciation of the HBFs. There's another one for you to fathom out. Wink

We have geese. They fly over noisily twice daily in formation. They go out for the day and then go home at night. No idea where they go although I think they live by the lake in the village up the road.

Agreed Helen about Lethal White. Very rushed at the end. Also, Robin's phone was dropped overboard, but in the last scene she's taking a call on it. Confused

I've ordered Troubled Blood on DH's Prime account as I keep seeing spoilers all over the place. It should arrive tomorrow.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/09/2020 14:29

Awwwwwwwww at the rare muddy White River Fox Grin Cute pup Grin

I would totally start with the Musketeers (and finish with them and have them at every point inbetween). Merlin is complete fluff and even sillier, but the FAF is not so FAF. I dipped in and out of the episodes while DS was watching it.

Wicked - without you there would be no snirf, or fika, and much less house porn Grin Shock

Apricot - I assumed that the final phone scene set some time later? Or why would Strike be heading off to see about a new case directly from the houseboat. Confused

I have a meeting - laters.

Back out at the client, so no pics Grin
Yes, do start with Musketeers - so much hotness!

MrsG That is one cute 'fox' Grin I'm with you, prefer geese in the air & away from me. I am wary of geese, knew some 'guard geese' when I was growing up.....

helen I can't take the credit for autocucumber. Although my erm, autocucumber does recognise the word now. But not DS's name. FFAS phone

ApricotCrush · 16/09/2020 15:13

Ah, okay Helen, I clearly need a rewatch to sort out the timescale. Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 16/09/2020 15:17

Are you people discussing the plot? Shock

All I remember is Strike being all burly and manly and saying fuck Grin

Sorry to report that my meeting did not include HBFs. FML. It involved lots of spreadsheet and my poor bemused colleague listening to my stream of consciousness as I tried to work out reassigning multiple finding streams across different project strands. Exciting stuff eh?!

Oh no Apricot - you'll have to watch again? The hardship Wink.
Yes Wicked plot Grin I've torn up the rulebook and I'm talking plot. When did he say "Fuck"? (I also need a rewatch.)

Wonder where autocucumber came from. Is it a general MN thing? Oh well - I'm off out to trash my knees for a bike ride in the murky gloom outside. Or I will be if DH every pulls his finger out and is ready to leave. Hmm

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 16/09/2020 18:12

He said it like three times Helen, at least that's how many times I had to change my knickers Grin

Evening wenches.

Grin at the white river fox

Thank you for the geese information. I’m always keen to learn. This applies to many areas.

Definitely start with The Musketeers.

I can’t really recall much else. My brain is trashed after work and I now have to help DS2 with his French which will not stick in his head. I’ve even tried saying the French words he needs to remember are footballers’ names because he has no issue remembering football info and stats. Nope.

And Cake

LetUsPrey · 16/09/2020 22:37

Oh wenches - thank you. And CakeWine[HBFs] for you too.

Some jigsawing has also helped. Obviously HBFs also help so I’ll just admire the pics already posted Grin

Hayloft for me.

FancyFancy · 16/09/2020 23:03

Would you like a military escort?

First and third thanks Fancy (not easy to say out loud) Grin

Now really, hayloft where some military precision will take place.

FancyFancy · 16/09/2020 23:31

Don't worry about two - I'll take care of him Grin

LetUsPrey · 17/09/2020 07:26

Morning wenches.

Jolly decent of you Fancy.

How are you getting on with The Musketeers watching MrsG? Or are you saving them for the weekend?

Exercisething after work tonight. The exercisething is preferable.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/09/2020 07:43

Morning all. It is sunny and cloudy this morning, and I think I have a had of fruit processing ahead of me.
Alas, poor geese. The shotgun brigade have been out in the field all morning...

FancyFancy · 17/09/2020 12:37

Sad for the geese
I am in a room with no windows again, so no weather update.

DS is supposed to be coming home for the weekend, so must remember to make up a bed tonight.

ApricotCrush · 17/09/2020 16:58

Afternoon. Bit cooler here, but sunny.

I've just been for a drive-through flu jab in the GP's car park. Brilliant, no waiting around. The nurse said she's done 160 today. Shock

Oh, poor geese. Sad There's always a lot of shooting in the fields round here, and I assume it's pigeons or rabbits which is bad enough, but geese! Shock Shock

Hope you've had a better day today LetUs.

ApricotCrush · 17/09/2020 17:31

Oh, my Troubled Blood has arrived. It's like a brick. Shock

LetUsPrey · 17/09/2020 20:00

Evening wenches.

Better day at work on the whole. And now I’m off until Tuesday. Woohooo!

Poor geese Sad. How did you get on with the fruit Helen?

Room with no window makes it sound like you’ve been taken prisoner Fancy! —although thinking about it we have a few rooms like that too—

Drive through flu jab is a good idea. And yes, don’t drop Troubled Blood on your foot Apricot!

Exercisething was feeble but I’ve added to my distance tally for this month so that’s all I’m after at the moment.

I think I could do with an early night sadly lacking in real life so a book it is.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/09/2020 20:29

It's been lovely here today - sunny with a breeze. Laundry ahoy! Also fruit stewing ad nauseum. And some nettles pulled up, which fought back, and my arms are a bit tingly. There are also still hundreds of geese about - suspect the shotguns will be back tomorrow. Wonder if I can put an order in with them. Hmm

Good news re. the Flu jab Apricot, though I am imagining a random person in the car park getting an unexpected jab because they just happened to be there and the nurse was on a roll. Grin

Fancy - get DS' bed made!

LetUs - How was your day? The HBFs are on standby with Wine Gin Chocolate Cake [massages] [hot bath] and themselves. (I imagine they'll keep Fancy entertained until you're ready for them.)

How was your day Wicked?

I mean I say the day was better , but obviously I still need to feel better so they can stay.

I’m watching Death in Paradise and dreaming of relaxing in that beach shack. Lovely Simon is good with tropical locations so he can relax with me.

Just a usual meh day Helen, thank you for asking.

Hope MrsG is alright, maybe she fainted from too much FAF?
