Loving the wildlife updates! We don't have geese in London. But I did end up with a rare miniature white river fox. It's really quite tame!

Better in the wheat I'd say - since they're still lifting the spuds. The wheat field is just stubble now, but it was cut very late so my money is on a lot of grain falling off when it was cut. (Leaving a nice buffet for the geese.)

It tried to rain a bit this morning early on, and now it's clouding over and looking rather gloomy. Ho hum.

Yes the geese are better where the food bit of the plant is below ground, as a rule. Maybe their droppings will be good for the potatoes? .

Now as a starter should I do Merlin or the three musketeers? I'm not fond of moustaches as a rule but tight trousers could mitigate that. If you were looking for something drool worthy light to watch where would you start?

I would totally recommend The Musketeers, I didn'l like beards at the time so almost didn't end up watching it, but let's just say I changed my mind after a few eposides
