The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

No unusual additions to the compost bin thankfully. Was quite nice to be back in the office and not feel thwarted. Also managed to do a reconciliation that I normally find quite baffling and I guarantee that anybody reading the accounts will neither understand nor care about . I'm always gobsmacked at the people moaning about the lack of Zoom lessons - my internet's pretty good and we all have our own computers but I'm not sure how well it would cope with multiple Zoom lessons and me on a Teams call with a client . How they expect households to cope if their broadband is crappy or they can't afford a computer each or the parents are juggling several young kids & working from home I don't know. Some people really think everyone lives the same cushy lives as them.

DH can stay in the dungeon for tonight. He pissed me off some more without realising it. Nothing epic but pfft.

Morning. Sunny here at the moment, so I've put washing on. However, judging by the clouds that are building up, I may have made a tactical error. Oh well. It tipped it down last night, so I'm glad I held off on the bike ride or I'd have got drenched (as opposed to mildly damp).

You'll be pleased to know I didn't have any red bull yesterday!!! (My Name is SisterHelen and it's been more than 100 days since my last Red bull) I substituted hot chocolate and cake It was obviously a good maths day yesterday, since I managed to balance the spreadsheets (That's when I had my celebratory hot choc and cake)

Heard today I’m not back at work yet (I’d expected to be back on Monday) which has pissed off NiceColleague as it means she doesn’t get time off, and which is giving me some anxiety because why don’t they want me back in yet to do a swap over like before and like they’re still doing in other departments. They’ll have their reasons which they obviously are not going to share with me even if I ask.
