Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF.

Did my exercise. I’m at the beginning of one of the weeks so it’s increased. Three minutes is an excessively long time when it comes to running. Walked up to BestFriend’s house this afternoon. Started raining just as I set off, we had a little chat, it stopped raining when I was about five minutes from home. And now it’s thundering.

Things I’d been waiting for for BestFriend’s birthday arrived so I decided I’d get my exercise in and go for a walk. I’m ready to go, coat on, headphones on, umbrella at the ready and DH shouts me into the living room so he could show me someone playing tennis with a hat on. It was Dustin . I managed to say it was to keep his dreads under control without sighing. The temptation to not go out was very real

I made a Victoria sandwich/sponge this morning which was a total failure. Looks like two biscuits. It'll probably taste alright.

DH has had a new phone and has been driving me mad either showing me things he's discovered on it or asking me how things work. I have no idea. He's ending up phoning DGS.

We watched The Capure when it was on Helen. I quite enjoyed it, but yes, probably a good idea to read a synopsis, it may make more sense than the actual thing. It's one of those that's setting up for another series.

It stopped raining here and has turned out quite nice/muggy this afternoon. I have been out to supermarket to do click/collect, and then actually shopping for all the things that were missed off the order

I ought to go out on my bike before it decides to rain again. (and also deliver shopping for DF because there's not much point buying it for him if it sits in our kitchen...)

At least DH called you in to view some FAF LetUs - Mine usually wants to witter about sport or music at me, just when I'm in the middle of something else. Mind you he'd probably say similar about me, and he'd probably have a valid point

Been watching a programme called Remarkable Places To Eat. One of the presenters was Fred Sirieix. I have developed rather a crush.

He looks quite cheery.

I did get a bike ride in - the dark-looking clouds didn't produce any rain, which was good of them. (Must have dumped it on someone else before they got here).

I came away from a holiday with the remains of a rather lovely shower gel from l'occitane. I eked it out, and eventually went to the shop to buy more... it had been discontinued. I should have liberated more! Another time I came away with elk-themed gel. No prizes for guessing where that went.

We're watching a series with Brian Johnson interviewing various other rock stars. It's quite fun.

I’m hoping to do the running thing but the sky is getting darker by the minute. DH has previously suggested if it’s nice when I first get up to go out then. This is a no because breakfast and also it takes my bones and joints a while to sort of settle together and get going IYSWIM FFS it’s June - why is there so much rain?!

Must get DS2 going with today’s schoolwork.

Day off since it's Midsummer's Eve. Visited mum for some lunch. My AC isn't working so a bit warm in the car so I took a cold shower when I got home and also had a little nap. Ready for some new potatoes and salmon now

I’ve just managed to slice a chunk out of my thumb. It rather hurts but at least the bleeding’s nearly stopped. I’ll still be able to celebrate Aidan’s birthday with him though.
