Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF.
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

I took a walk into the city to buy wine and then bought some snacks for tonight. At least 1,5 hour walking so feel quite good about myself. I had to stand in line outside the booze shop since they only let a certain amount of people in the store. That's really good. Some people just don't give a shit about distancing.
Plan to vacuum, fold some laundry and then maybe another walk. Warm and sunny here.

Wenches do seem to be productive today. I think I will need to go grocery shopping today - had planned to go Monday daytime but that's out now and I doubt I'll have the energy to go later as I'll have a long commute. Some gardening first, which is nicer

It's an IT job ww, he'd never really planned to do that but isn't in a great position ATM, so can't afford to be choosy and shall we say connections proved useful. He did well in the aptitude tests and is a very logical thinker so should be good at it, if he stays motivated.

Afternoon. It went sunny this afternoon so I went outside to top up my tan which is rapidly fading. It immediately clouded over.

Yes Helen, I don't like it but I think they'll have to reduce the distance to 1m, although surely they'll make face-coverings mandatory in that case. Mind you, I was born to socially distance, 1m is too close for me at the best of times, except for HBFs of course.

Sat outside for a bit and it was so warm! Decided I’d bring the washing in and then sit on a lounger. It started raining.

Evening. There has been no lounging. There has been much painting though. If it's some sort of wooden structure in our garden, it has been painted or creosoted. Plus we dragged DS out for a bike ride and I lie... there was lounging. We had magnums after the bike ride.

But mostly there has been painting. And a bit of sunburn - my legs have a burn line where my wellies stopped

I managed some more gardening before the heavens opened - we even had some thunder! It's hammering down again now, should freshen the garden up a bit. Managed the shopping and then as it was late, had pizza while watching Miranda.

Morning all. Was a bit miserable here, then very miserable (chucked it down), then a bit miserable, and now it's brightened up, and then clouded over again. I don't think I shall make plans to be far from indoors today... Or I might live dangerously and go for a walk.

Been to IKEA today, as soon as they opened, not many people there. I got some curtains for the balcony to shield of the sun.
