Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF.
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

That’s just the final straw really Wicked. Like when I went to the supermarket for a prescription that should have been ready but it wasn’t, they didn’t have a couple of other things and then I got to the biscuit spread section and the shelf was empty. That was the bit that upset me the most.

I remember the CPR cats. Can’t find the picture though.

I think hiding under HBFs is the best plan ever.

Hmmm can’t see any HBFs at the moment. Perhaps they’re waiting for DH to go to work, which means I can’t avoid schoolwork. DS2 has other opinions on the matter.

Slow start to the day, and then straight into meetings.

Finished Series 3 of WestWorld yesterday - FFS because it then just sets up for S4 rather than neatly finishing it up. I'm getting a bit meh with it. S4 had better be good or I'll just give up on it, since I could have summarised all of S3 in about a dozen words, without the need for 8+ hours of rather confusing TV. Of course, finishing S3 also led to a rather late night, so I may just be generically grumpy this morning.

Anyway - Fancy needs some sort of resuscitation...

Pre blob so mostly just want to kill people, hate the bloody sun and happy people so I'm cheering myself up with some documentaries about murders on the telly.

Not a fabulous day if I’m honest. Schoolwork did not go particularly well. I know he finds it all tricky and I know he’s —mostly— trying his best but aaarrgghhh. Cheated a bit with art and drew the outline of the object for him after his second go “disappointed him” and all he had to do was colour it in. It’s only colouring in and it’s not very good. And now I feel awful for thinking that. I sat with him all morning which I know is a luxury, but I’ll be back beginning July so bugger knows what will happen then.

Was feeling a bit anxious and down about it and DS1 decided to ask what was up (upstairs and not near DS2). Let’s just say he appears to be missing the empathy/sympathy genes

I don't know how DS got on with school work because I wasn't paying very much attention to him #BadMother I'm just working on the basis that he did a bit of all the subjects on his timetable today. (And a lot of xboxing)

Also, I recommend the 'Stupid Deaths' board game - not related to Horrible Histories, but quite entertaining for the whole family.

I tried to post some morale-boosting faf last night letus, but there seemed to be a massive internet outage, so here it is - a little late....

My morale is feeling well and truly boosted Fancy

DH has been out for a run. He’s told me all about it and then told me where I could go for mine. Then he’s chatted about other stuff. Chat chat chat. Also, why don’t you do this today? Or this? Or you could do this? Let me tell you all the ways you could spend your time today. And best of all, let me explain how to do DS2’s schoolwork with him. Fucksake just SHUT UP!

I think it’s best for everyone if I just spend the day in the cupboard.

Have to go the supermarket with DS2. We went yesterday but we got there and he said he didn’t feel well (headache) so we didn’t even get out now the car.
