Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF. Grin
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them Grin

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

Awwww at birthday surprises Grin

I wasn't drunk, just a bit... discombobulated? Confused Grin

I'm sure Fancy wouldn't have minded getting wet - HBFs are good with umbrellas - no?

Excellent word discombobulated.

So pleased you’ve had a lovely birthday Apricot. You deserve it.

It was so nice to see LovelyMIL today. She’s in her 80s now and definitely doesn’t look it.

Adam’s not great with his umbrella. I’m sure Wicked could help him get it up whilst I help Brandon keep his up

Evening
Am part way through Corialanus. Hidders looking faf is not helping me follow the Shakespearan language if I'm honest. And one of the tribunes is a bit mumbly - I daren't turn the volume up any louder as every so often someone shouts Grin Anyhow, it is interesting so far.

The rain didn't hold off, but wasn't too heavy & FancyMan had an umbrella - think of that Athos/Milady pic!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/06/2020 23:59

Yes - Adam's not quite got the hang of it. I'm sure Wicked is more than happy to get a good grip though. Grin

I have torn two nail stoday and ended up chewing them right down in the mistaken belief that this will make them less rough and snaggy. FFS, I never learn...

Off to the hayloft now. Monday tomorrow - poop. Sad Though I may watch Coriolanus.

LetUsPrey · 08/06/2020 09:14

Morning wenches.

I’ll try to watch some Coriolanus today, schoolwork depending.

Quite dull here today.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/06/2020 09:22

Wenches, it's cooooooooooooolllllld Sad

Also dull here.

I have excel spreadsheets to look at (quelle suprise) and I also need to go shopping, and cut DS' hair, which even he has admitted has got a bit long... Shock

Morning
Hoping for a drier walk today & also need to mow the lawn - the excitement! Hoping to fit in a video call this morning too - probably ought to get dressed then Grin

ApricotCrush · 08/06/2020 16:02

Afternoon. Cold here too.

Mk2 of the mask has been made, much better. Awaiting DD's approval and then I'll make some more for us.

Eeeek at broken nails. Shock

Remember Swan Wars and the eggs that were incubating? Well four of them hatched and they're doing well. They're with some displaced ducklings. I'm just so sad that they can't be reunited with their parents. Sad

Really Letus and Helen BlushWink

So bloody tired, didn't sleep that well. The car is at the garage and it will cost me about 500£ to fix some brake thingies and some other thingies. Was expecting worse though.

LetUsPrey · 08/06/2020 20:21

Evening wenches.

Brightened up today and I got a line of washing dry oooooooo.

DS1 has said no to another haircut. DS2 is sporting the Madchester look Grin.

Cute cygnets and ducklings but Sad at the fall out from Swan Wars.

Urgh at expensive car thingies.

Schoolwork went surprisingly smoothly.

Did my PE and will get out for the start of week 2 C25K tomorrow.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/06/2020 21:54

Ooooooooooooooohhh! Indeed at Washing. Wasn't stupid enough to try that one here Grin Hope Fancy had dry enough weather for mowing.

Forgot to cut DS' hair - ho hum. He;s heading out the other side of Madchester towards 60s hippie Grin #SlightExaggeration Grin

Sad at parentless swans - I suppose at least they managed to hatch them.

Ouch Wicked Sad it might be less than you werer expecting for the car, but still... Confused Which reminds me - my car insurance is due. Oh tedium.

On the subject of TV stuff, Apricot was saying about Strike being brought forward. Ghosts should be coming on at some point too. And there's a new series of 'What We Do in the Shadows' next week Grin Channel 4 is re-showing Buffy from scratch. No wonder we don't get round to watching anything else!

FancyFancy · 08/06/2020 22:20

Spent far too long chatting & didn't get the lawn mowed - did stay dry on the walk though

at the cygnets

Is that a new series of Ghosts helen? Hope so, I bloody loved that programme.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/06/2020 22:46

Whoop for being a responsible grown-up Grin
(I just saved £100 on my car insurance renewal)

They filmed the new series of Ghosts before lockdown Fancy - no idea about when it's due to be screened though.

LetUsPrey · 08/06/2020 22:50

I did enjoy Ghosts.

We started watching Run tonight. Domhnall Gleeson is in it.

I don’t know why I’m still up. I’m tired and should head to the hayloft.

Morning wenches. Tiiiiirrrreeedddd.

Dull again here but it’s dry.

Today it’s “run”, ironing, schoolwork, other really exciting things.

FancyFancy · 09/06/2020 09:14

Morning.
Have a lot to get through today, so no faffing on the internet for me

Yay for there being a new series of Ghosts, must remember to look out for that .

LetUsPrey · 09/06/2020 16:22

Exercise done, some paperwork done, schoolwork done —nowhere near as smoothly as yesterday—.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 09/06/2020 17:13

So, some thingy that had to do with the hand brake was totally destroyed by rust so it cost me about £150 more Confused

ApricotCrush · 09/06/2020 17:42

Afternoon, I think it feels a bit warmer today.

Eek at car expense WW, but well done to Helen on insurance saving.

That one has passed me by.

FancyFancy · 09/06/2020 17:44

JFC letus are you trying to kill me? Shock

Sad ww

There's just been some loud squawking in teh garden - I was worried ScaredyCat was nest-raiding. Nope, there was a pair of parakeets in teh trees next door. Still can't compete with helen's local peacocks!

LetUsPrey · 09/06/2020 18:52

Evening wenches.

Cars are full of expensive thingies that break and rust. That is some sadly impressive rust Wicked.

You alright there Fancy? I’m sure one of them will revive you. I’ll entertain the others in the meantime. Shock at parakeets!

It is definitely warmer Apricot. Still no sunshine, but it’s nice that it’s warming up.

Tomorrow’s schoolwork is the other halves of the stuff he started today and Art. DS2 takes after me in the artistic department poor thing. I’m dreading it all already.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 09/06/2020 19:12

Worst of all, I went to Lidl to buy pain au chocolates, and they didn't have any!!!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/06/2020 21:06

Shock Shock Shock Wicked - no pain au chocolate?! Wine and [FAF]

They were a 'thing', weren't they? I remember gifs and stuff.... The only one I have is cats pouncing of small children!
We haven't had peacocks for a while now - it's lovey and peaceful!

Schoolwork was Hmm today. Not looking forward to tomorrow either. LetUs - we could just hide under a pile of HBFs and pretend that it's all fine...?
