Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF.
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

Morning. It'a rainy and windy and generally not terribly nice weather. So I'm going on a day trip to pick up a new chicken house back to bed with Athos.

Me LetUs? Exasperated? No. That's not me. I'm the epitome of patience and understanding. I never get annoyed or frustrated or exasperated - just don't ask anyone who knows me!

Finally getting some rain for the garden which is good

Can't see an end to work being busy for another month at least, plus wfh and technical issues raised by COVID are just making everything take a bit longer on top. Am thankful to still be working though!

Robins still being busy in the garden - hope the cats stay away from them. Yesterday evening both were involved in a loud altercation with something - think it was a fox. Whatever it was ScaredyCat had a tail like a bottle brush

We've had baby sparrows pestering food on the bird table today. And the rate they're getting through the fat squares...

I'm completely exhausted after a day of bargain therapy. Couch and for me now.

What a lovely dream LetUs, although a shame about Paella. I had a holiday dream too. We were going home and the coach was waiting to take us to the airport but I hadn't packed anything and couldn't find the suitcase and was in a total panic. I never have nice dreams.

I'm having a go at the masks, and making hard work of it. My prototype was a failure because it wouldn't gather at the sides as there was too much fabric. Back to the drawing board.

More thunder and rain - and then hail. But enough of a break to get out on my bike as well. then I came home and scrubbed down the freshly-soaked polytunnel, which was handy because it was very manky.

Every now and then I take a swig of Rum from the bottle (DH is - which is entertainment in itself), then I go and sit down and remember why I don't normally drink... I'm not entirely sure my head is connected to my body, and my arms may be longer than usual, because my hands feel a long way away

I have those sorts of dreams apricot - running late & unprepared for something, hate them

DD & I had a glass of pink & watched a Miranda episode over dinner - decided neither of us could really remember the episode, except the very end, but that it was bloody excellent - Gary being faf, cute dogs & some epic Miranda/Stevie moments

Watching an ep of Poirot. Poor thing. All he wants to do is enjoy his box of Belgian chocolates during Christmas, and then he gets called of on a case. He was so happy about the chocolate. I really symphatise.

Which series of Westworld are you on LetUs? We're ploughing through Series 3, but DS is going to bed so late these days that by the time he's out of the way I'm pretty much ready to fall asleep too, so we're way behind now. I was going to get up early this morning and start on Killing Eve 3, which is building up on the box, but then I went back to bed instead

Thanks for the birthday wishes and FAF wenches. I don't usually make a thing out of it but DD outed me on FB. I didn't expect to do anything but we had a totally impromptu socially distanced (mostly!) mini party in the garden when DS and DD & Co. arrived at the same time with cake, wine and flowers.
