We've been watching the NASA feed of the rocket launch and are about to go and look for it passing over West-ish. Also watched Hidden Figures this evening, which is all very serendipitous.

Well, we saw... something. It was either the ISS or the SpaceX whatnot. But we didn't see both, so we're a bot bemused. Lots of people are tweeting that the ISS was very clear and the rocket was very faint, so I'm guessing we missed the rocket.

Lots of rubbish scary dreams so not a great night’s sleep, and then trying to get back to sleep at about 5.30 and there was a bird outside that sounded like it was using a machine gun.

So I don’t have plans to anything more than some washing and lying on a lounger.

Morning all. I have fed the cats, fed the chickens, watered the veg (forgot to do that last night), picked up eggs cleaned the hob, put the dishwasher on, and am now having breakfast.

It's gorgeous outside again, and we have no plans. Except DS has to do some schoolwork today, which is about a month overdue. so that will be fun. I have been asked to help, which will go wonderfully well and we won't get frustrated and grumpy with each other at all.

I always like the sound of Glee but that’s another one I never got round to watching. I think I know which one Sue Sylvester is though - blonde lady in the tracksuit?

Evening. Nothing much done today, just general lounging around.

Another two parcels not collected by the courier. What are they playing at? I reckon our dependable local courier is ill and they haven't bothered to replace him. Another visit to the parcel shop tomorrow. I complained to the CEO about the last non-collection and had a reply saying he'd read my email - like hell he had - and they're looking into it but since then nothing.

Oh, windows. Nothing complicated, just bowl of washing up liquid, squeegie thing and kitchen roll to wipe round the edges. DH insists on using window cleaner then polishing them which makes them smeary when the sun shines on them.

I missed the ISS and the rocket, didn't know what time to look, then forgot about it.

We have one of the Karcher things to clean windows/clear condensation. So when —DH— we clean them, we do what you do except with a cleaning spray instead of washing up liquid. I might suggest that —DH uses— we use washing up liquid next time.

DH is watching something about Muhammad Ali which is very interesting but I’m not particularly watching.. However, he’s doing his usual let me explain and talk to you about it.

I think I did DS' work for him while he watched. FFS. I am NOT doing any more of it. He's finishing it off himself.

We do have a squeegee thing, but it doesn't do any of the clever hoovering up of liquid. I think I usually use washing up liquid too, but I don't wash the windows often enough to remember really. I definitely avoid proper window cleaning stuff, because like Apricot says, it just goes smeary and annoying.

I think that a bath sounds like a very good plan LetUs - there you go - there's one ready and waiting for you
