I've lost it from my watched threads and can't find it by searching either, am I just being stupid?

All good at scan. Dory has her head in my pelvis like a good girl. Nemo is breech like a naughty boy... They couldn't calculate Dory's approximate weight as head was impossible to measure, but Nemo was 1173 grams, which works out as 2.58lbs! From my book it says that a single baby should be about 2lbs now... Arrrgghh. Dory seems to be a bit smaller from the leg and abdomen measurements, but still within normal range. And we double checked the bits, definitely a boy and a girl . Next scan is now 5 December and depending on the position then we will know what course of action for birth.

Where is everyone? I know Squonk is PC-less but Fred??? Marmite??? SM???

marmitemad · 08/11/2007 20:35

I'm here, just been busy doing housework , swimming and visiting friends today.

nothing very exciting to report here.

Egg - glad everything was good at the scan, how many weeks are you now?

I'm here...sorry these days I seem to do nothin but look at wedding crap essentials..

here's my venue

Egg · 09/11/2007 14:32

Oooooooooh Fred that looks so lovely, really really nice. I am almost wanting to get married again! Have you sorted flowers / photographer / all that crap?

Marmite, that is a pic of DS during our first ever brownie-making attempt. He was very happy, that was the bowl the melted choc had been in...

DS is not very well today. He has a temp of 103.3 . He was up at 5am but seemed ok just obviously tired but has been very lethargic and sleeping on me in front of tv. He's ok, sometimes showing a bit of interest in things so not too worried and have spoken to doc who said to keep him dosed up on calpol and try to keep him hydrated (he hasn't eaten since breakfast). I am bored though...

Dropdeadfred · 09/11/2007 14:53

Thanks Egg. I have the photographer booked but not flowers yet or cake ( thought I had and was really excited, but rec'd sample and it wasn't as nice as I'd hoped... )so it's back to the drawin board there...

Sorry to hear about ds, seems like all our lo's have been poorly recently!

Egg · 09/11/2007 14:57

I was v lucky with my cake as it was all inclusive, we paid for the venue which included wedding organisation for ceremony and reception, catering AND cake!

At least cake is not something you need to get sorted miles in advance, and if you need any help tasting samples give me a shout .

DS has slumped further down the sofa .

Dropdeadfred · 09/11/2007 15:03

Thanks Egg, unfortunately the lady suggested that I keep the sample for two weeks then try it to prove it would still be fresh...!! I told her it wouldn't last 2 hrs in our house let alone 2 weeks!

But it was choccy cake covered with soft icing and it was soooo sickly it was yuk.

marmitemad · 09/11/2007 18:09

Fred - wedding venue looks fab, have you booked a date yet?

Egg - sending get well soon vibes your way....

I have the worlds snottiest baby but dd seems to be fairly happy most of the time apart from last night when I think she had been crying quite a while before I heard her and got up to administer Medised.

Dropdeadfred · 09/11/2007 20:57

Dropdeadfred · 09/11/2007 20:58

fryalot · 09/11/2007 21:03

evenin'

fred: venue looks FANTASTIC. Got a bit looking at that I'm volunteering to help egg taste any sample wedding cake if you need a different second opinion

egg - had a quick look at your facebook picture - WOW! It seems like five minutes ago you were telling us that you aren't showing at all (you're definitely showing, love )

Not done much today - made jam tarts with ds while the girls were at school and nursery and surprisingly enough, they were lovely (yummy yummy)

fryalot · 09/11/2007 21:06

egg - just showed Nat your pic on facebook and she noticed that it says that that was you pg with DS! (durr) can we have a pic of you now, please?

Dropdeadfred · 09/11/2007 21:08

Squonk you said Nat!!! Not dd1..lol

Thanks for liking my venue...I have had a crisis of confidence once or twice about doing it so far away but when we went to visit I really did like it...

I am going to ask for as many samples as poss and will share them..

fryalot · 09/11/2007 21:26

oops

nat? nat? who's nat? obviously I meant dd1...

oh sod it, it's only you lot

marmitemad · 10/11/2007 09:23

quick post while dh is making me breakfast, we are off to cheer the mighty (!) Charlton take on Cardiff City today. Hope we win......

OP posts:
Egg · 10/11/2007 20:11

Hello girls. Sorry not been on today, posted on multiples thread and then got waylaid and never got on here . Been busy all day tidying etc and then DH's brother arrived in afternoon for the night so we went and met him and wandered around town.

DS much better today but still not quite himself as he is not really eating and is a bit fragile, but all in all a big improvement.

How did Charlton get on? Didn't see results today. DH and BIL have gone for a beer and I am going to have a lovely early night. Hope they stay out a while, although DH is not feeling great so unless the beers make him feel better he wont be out long.

Just tried to toast some waffles. Nearly set fire to house . They got stuck. Thankfully smoke alarm has not gone off, yet.

marmitemad · 10/11/2007 20:17

we won, 3-0 and dh won £60 after betting on the correct score. He has just gone out to collect his winnings and our Indian takeaway .

OP posts:
Egg · 10/11/2007 20:24

Yay! Sounds much better than marmite (!) on toast and burnt waffles... .

Have eaten crap all day in fact, the marmite is the healthiest thing i have eaten. Hope you have a lovely evening , I am going to scour the product reviews and for sale threads and then head off to bed.

fryalot · 10/11/2007 20:49

My team don't play till tomorrow, but I still found myself looking at the results to see how Charlton got on (yaaaay, well done marmite's boys )

we've not done much today - dp been mooching in the other room trying to get the puter sorted out (still hasn't) and tomorrow I'm hoping to take Nat dd1 to the pub to watch our footie game

Egg · 10/11/2007 20:52

Still here. Looking at info on buggypods. Can't bloody use a buggy board as back seat comes back too far so nowhere for DS to stand. He will not be able to walk everywhere, he will leg it into the river at the first opportunity...

Pub to watch footie sounds like fun, reminds me of the "old days".

I want to eat more bad things.

Dropdeadfred · 10/11/2007 21:03

if the worst comes to the worst egg and you can't mange with ds1 walking with reins then maybe you could use a sling for one of the twins (alternate between them i guess)and ds1 can sit in the double pushchair?

Dropdeadfred · 10/11/2007 21:05

ps 'i want to eat more bad things' just cracked me up so much...it was a serious confession in a funny voice wasn't it?

Egg · 10/11/2007 21:14

LOL Fred . I have not yet eaten anything else, and am actually feeling a bit sugared out now so think I will leave it for today!

Indeed I think your sling suggestion is what it may come to (started a thread about buggypods and just said the same thing), as I think DS is going to be very jealous about the new pushchair and it might make him happier if he can go in it a bit. Trouble is, I do need to get him walking more, and don't Nemo or Dory strapped to me and then he does get out and walk and I am stuck carrying a twin and pushing a double buggy and can't put the twin in the buggy as front seat not suitable til 6 months unless with car seat, and cant carry a car seat around on the offchance DS get's out.

Sorry, very very long paragraph making little or no sense........

fryalot · 10/11/2007 21:15

I'm thinking, egg, I'm thinking....
