All the bickering over what is & isn't allowed is so tiresome - for some keyboard warriors nothing less than hermetically sealing yourself into your own house for at least a month is good enough and they just won't accept that people live in places where exercising outside without getting near anyone is perfectly possible. They should save their ire for letus's neighbours

DD came round this morning to drop off some bits and pieces that were missing from my online shop. DGS was in the car and we talked to him from a safe distance. It's so sad, we do miss him.

Fancy - there's nothing like a demanding cat for interrupting work I shut ours downstairs today. I've been out on my bike today, which was a welcome break from the screen and keyboard. I've also taken the arms off the office chair because it's really not working in the current set-up and the arms aren't adjustable.

Apricot -that's hard. Nice to see him from a distance though?

LetUs - the HBFs are very good at taking care of us

And then when you get him back to yours Wicked, you’d have to properly isolate.

DH went into the loft and found a box that said jigsaws and games on it. A couple of good ones in there but I was still missing loads. I went up after he said there was nothing else. Right next to the box he’d put back was another box clearly labelled on all sides “LetUs’s Jigsaws”. Hurrah for also eyeroll.

I think we should now take care of the HBFs in return. It’s only right and fair.

I'm heading for a bath and bed - the arms came off the chair LetUs - (hurrah for allan keys) the plan is that hopefully now the chair won't shove my shoulders up round my ears, and my back will stop hurting. And a bath will also help with that...

Afternoon. Still cold here, but it's looking good for the weekend.

Nothing going on here. DH is still gardening and I'm knitting.

Oh, one of the parcels I sent out last week has been returned to me with no explanation, I just found it on the doorstep! FFS. Whenever I do eBaying for DS anyone else it goes wrong. It's not my fault or the buyer's but he's being very reasonable and it's going off again on Monday.

Soap has arrived - what is my life like that I find that exciting?!

Shoulder is a bit better for having the arms off the chair, but of course now it's tired from having no support whatsoever, because I can't win. Still, I have been out on my bike again this evening (and passed the same dog walkers twice since were were doing the same circuit in the opposite direction!) , and DH did the shopping, so not all bad. No soap though, so I'm impressed by Fancy's soaped up status so are the HBFs

Latest jigsaw was a sort of olde worlde milk churns canal barges sort of thing. Next one will be a sort of 1950s/60s day out to the beach scene.

Have finished today for a few weeks on furlough.

Plan is to get the washing done and ironed, sort through and file away/put for shredding the mountains of paperwork, have a really good tidy up, work through an outstanding piece of schoolwork with DS2 and get him to do some reading every day, and carry on with my knitting.

Or I’ll barely move from the settee, watch loads of tv, do lots of jigsaws, eat tons of rubbish and need to be rolled everywhere like a big ball.

Evening. Still excited by my soaped up status even if it was more expensive than normal. Sadly letus my prospects of getting that sort of dirty are non-existent at the moment!

Cloudy here but I’ve put a wash out as it’s supposed to brighten up later. No cat but DS2 is similarly making a lot of noise shouting at his players on his football game.

Sunny here too - some gardening is called for.

DD volunteered to go to the shops today instead of me as she wanted to go out & we need a few essentials. Still waiting for her to get up & am feeling pretty hungry now!

It’s a Harry Potter scarf Apricot —that I’ve had on the go since before Christmas—

I’ve been tidying and sorting the paperwork mountain. I absolutely did not find receipts and documents going back to 2017. No, not me . I want to get going on some of the shelves but then I’d just have stuff in piles waiting for the charity shop.

Evening. I have been in the garden all day, and been out for a bike ride. I have not done any hoovering. Still, I feel very virtuous and deserving of chocolate lava pudding - as long as it works...

She did wake up eventually - DS & I were both starving by the time she got back from the shops!

My day has officially been rather dull - did go for a lovely short walk though, the birdsong was amazing. Am experimenting with using grass clippings as mulch (told you my day was dull!) in the hope that it will save me from being swamped by garden waste
