New thread offically open, complete with Wine Gin [ brew] etc. And Hayloft. Speaking of which...

Obviously, you can stockpile a ready supply of HBFs Fancy - though you are TeamA, so you'll be expected to share them Grin

(I'm not here. I'm definitely not working. I'm in bed. Hmm)

Morning wenches.

at the cat food. I think the cats will have something to say about that.

If we’re stockpiling HBFs, we’re going to need to build an extension.

Hurrah for Picard! I’m enjoying it. New episode tomorrow but I’m going out so it’ll be Saturday before I watch it.

Frosty outside. I’d best get on with the erection

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/03/2020 08:11

Morning. But grey and cloudy here. And chilly, but not cold.

Good plan re. the extension LetUs - better safe than sorry, we don't want to leave any HBFs out - though it's amazing how many we can pack into the cwtch cupboard with you Grin

And now, the joys of work...

OP posts:
FancyFancy · 05/03/2020 08:22

Sharing's fine letus, what with both of us having a lengthy list Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 05/03/2020 15:48

Fräsan always joins me in the bathroom and wants to cuddle while I'm on the loo. Then she jumps in the bathtub and just sits there looking adorable Smile

ApricotCrush · 05/03/2020 18:14

Evening. Nothing to report here, haven't been out, all very boring.

Aww at TavCats being cute. Smile

Have a good evening all.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 05/03/2020 18:25

Been to a pub for fish and chips, wine and irish coffee Smile

LetUsPrey · 05/03/2020 19:57

Evening wenches..

Grin I like to squeeze in as many as I can.

Squeee at TavCats being cute!

I find length is important Fancy, although wenches of course also like to have a wide variety. A proper breadth.

I vote all round to Apricot’s, taking food, drink, and very many HBFs.

Mmmm at fish and chips.

I’m watching an old Midsomer Murders. One of the victims was a victim in a much earlier series Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 05/03/2020 20:11

Really? I'm curious now Letus.

LetUsPrey · 05/03/2020 20:47

About the Midsomer thing? An actor who played a victim in The Fisher King (series 7) was also a victim in The Sicilian Defence (series 15). That’s some bad luck there Grin. Mind you, the actor who plays the more recent Barnaby appeared in an episode as a different character many series ago Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 05/03/2020 20:53

Oh yes I remember that, he played a horny gardener or something Grin

LetUsPrey · 05/03/2020 21:48

That was the one Grin

Nearly finished my latest jigsaw. It’s got a cat on it. At least this one won’t follow me to the bathroom. LetUsCat used to walk along the edges of the bath whilst I was in it.

FancyFancy · 05/03/2020 22:48

ScaredyCat tends to do that too letus - fell in a couple of times when a kitten Grin

I have tomorrow off

LetUsPrey · 06/03/2020 07:42

Morning wenches.

Can now just picture TavCats having a little meeting, discussing bathroom interrupting tactics. I picture a whiteboard and everything.

Have a fab day off Fancy.

Cold here. Car’s frozen. No matter as I’m out for food and cinema tonight.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/03/2020 07:48

Midsomer has a case of the Dcotor Whos then? (re-using actors)

Anyway - Cyrano de Bergerac was amazing last night well worth dragging myself out for. Bit of a late night though. I shall be powered by red bull today...

Nice dry morning again - broken cloud. Wildlife report: Barn owl yesterday, and today we had a very hopeful golden retriever magpie flying about with an improbably large branch twig.

Must get dressed and do the work thing....

FancyFancy · 06/03/2020 11:09

FancyCat would definitely lead that meeting letus - she really is a most devious animal. Good job she's gorgeous too Grin

Need to get moving - shopping to do before cinema later.

ApricotCrush · 06/03/2020 17:41

Afternoon. Lovely day here but still cold.

I went to the chemist earlier to pick up my meds and asked for some paracetamol while I was there. It had trebled in price! I told them to keep it. I hate the profiteering going on at the moment. Angry

A parcel came this morning addressed to DH from The Range which was weird as we were talking about it the other day. He phoned about something else and I asked him what it was - no idea. The thing is, he spends hours on his phone and sees stuff that he reeeally neeeeds, orders it and then forgets about it. Consequently when the parcels arrive it's like bloody Christmas here as he gets all excited to open his 'surprise'. This turned out to be some car cleaning stuff. Hmm

I want fish and chips now. Grin

Have a lovely evening all whatever you're doing. Wine

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/03/2020 18:49

Shock Apricot - but then again I saw a picture today of a local supermarket with empty shelves where paracetamol and handwash ought to be. FFs and all that. LOL at the exciting parcels with mundane contents though. We get that sometimes, though it's as likely to be DH as me.

I cannot, for a second, imagine our cats being organised - even by other cats. InconvenientCat would probably lounge about going "Yeah, whatever" and then go about whatever he had planned anyway. Stupid Cat would look wide-eyed and the race out of the room at top speed for no apparent reason. I suspect that FancyCat would be left rolling her eyes and muttering 'FFS' under her breath.

OP posts:
FancyFancy · 06/03/2020 19:22

FancyCat would just bully everyone into submission - I have never seen a cat so withering - it's not just withering looks, she has a very disapproving back that gets frequently deployed when she's displeased with you Grin

The toilet paper thing is nuts - did my weekly shop today. Hardly any toilet roll, no basic painkillers & people bulk buying anti-bac wipes FFAS. Fortunately there was no shortage of essentials - tea, biscuits, cheese & wine Grin

Have been to see Emma. Very entertaining - quite a frothy version, more on the romance than the satire. Was pleasantly surprised with Knightly - was very concerned that the actor was blond but thought he did well.

Mmmmm......fish & chips........

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 06/03/2020 20:06

I think FancyCat might meet her match in Fräsan, she has the greatest disapproving look I ever seen Grin

If not:

"Where are we going Piglet?" asked Pooh.

"We need to get supplies," said Piglet. "For the Coronavirus"

"Ahh," said Pooh, nodding in understanding. "Things like bread, milk, cough mixture, tissues and cat litter even though we don't have a cat?"

Piglet did a little laugh, and a sort of leap and bit of a cough. "No," said Piglet. "No, those aren't the sort of supplies we need at all! What we need are family sized bags of chocolate buttons, massive toblerone, jelly babies and crunchies and a freezer full of stuffed crust pizzas, and all of the Prosecco that we can possibly carry, so that when we get quarantined we won't mind it even slightly. THOSE are supplies."

All of a sudden, Pooh thought that the idea of coronavirus didn't seem quite so bad, and actually, getting quarantined with Piglet and their supplies really didn't sound such a terrible thing after all. "Oh Piglet," said Pooh. "I really do think you are a very wise animal."

Piglet is indeed very wise Grin

That’s just what your cats want you to think Helen.

With you on the Angry at profiteering Apricot.

Also been to see Emma. Very much enjoyed —Callum Turner and Johnny Flynn— the film. Thought of Fancy whenever Callum was on screen.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/03/2020 23:08

Hayloft. And FAF.

Good of them to stand to attention

Hayloft for me also

FancyFancy · 06/03/2020 23:53

Piglet is clearly thinking along the same lines as DD & I - 2 weeks of self isolation sounds quite pleasant given a sufficiently stocked wine rack larder and a ready supply of faf on dvd/Netflix.
