We watched Dracula. And now I can’t go to bed for about two hours. Blimey it was good though, even though I did watch some of it from behind a cushion.

We didn't watch Dracula, DS couldn't get to sleep, and now it's gone midnight. FML why am I still up?!

No Dracula dreams strictly speaking, although I did dream I was on some sort of touring holiday - coach or train - and the actor who plays Dracula was also on it. He spent a lot of time chatting to DH.

Morning. Today it is mostly wet. DH says that the garden is 'nearly underwater it's a bog' I haven't been out but suspect he may be getting lightly overexcited.

I don't think I said, we have a fairly HBF at BoringOfficeJob I've even spoken to him though to be fair, he's nowhere near the FAF levels of HBF-ness so I wouldn't expect to lose all powers of speech. But it makes the job that little bit more entertaining.

Watched ep 2 of Dracula but can't watch ep 3 tonight as DGS is staying over. It seems to bear no resemblance to the TB/Marc Warren version from what I can remember, I shall have to watch that one again.

I have done lots of driving today, and that's about it. Slightly more than was strictly necessary since I was busy talking to Elk and forgot to take the right turning. Twice. Unexpected tours of small-ish rural-ish places! Oh well.

Unreasonable and unnecessary travel anxiety working itself up nicely. Have packed.

Watching Dracula episode 2 which is serving as an excellent distraction.

Having breakfast whilst watching Secret Scotland. I’d say that I need to take a couple of years off so I can go to all the places I want to see, but in reality I’d probably just stay at home watching tv.

Afternoon. Woke up with a migraine this morning. I think it's too many chocolates, which I don't normally eat.

DD and SIL went out last night which was why DGS was staying with us and we had a phone call just before midnght saying they'd let their taxi go and were locked out of the house. Poor DH had to drag himself out of bed, get dressed and go and let them in with our key. He wasn't best pleased.

I think I'll manage with TB's Dracula Helen, although he was ridiculously young then.

Hope the meet up is going well.

I had insomnia last night so feel a bit groggy. Think it might have to do with the upcoming blob.

I have been very cultural today Wicked. British Library was very enjoyable and then I went to the Wellcome Collection as it’s more or less opposite Euston Station. That was very interesting. Am now at Euston Station with what appears to be the whole world, staring intently at the departure board.

The trees and decorations are all down now and back in the loft. The house looks very bare.

Evening all. I am back home and installed on the sofa as a cat bed. Stupid Cat is very happy (purring away); Inconvenient Cat is asleep. I have not been at all cultural today.

Glad to hear that your migraine wet away Apricot - would you like to come over and take down out decorations too? I really ought to get cracking on that.

I've cleaned today, ever since I found the crawly things in my clothes I've been a bit manic about cleaning, I vacuum everywhere. I've gone through some boxes with clothes and curtains etc, and since I'm a drama queen sometimes, I'm not sure you've noticed I imagined I would find tons of disgusting things but I didn't, so phew. I did find some small dead ones underneath the bottom shelf of one of my bookshelves, I mean WTF. But rather there than among my clothes.

I also chucked out two rugs, I've had them forever and Sigrid's barfed on them about a million times, but since Fräsan likes rugs I have to buy new ones oh no.
