I’m supposed to be heading to the hayloft. Think I’ll watch a bit of tv first.

I think the Christmas blah is just caused by the extra work of planning and prep. When I think 'Christmas' my heart just sinks at the though of all the extra work on top of the other domestic nonsense. I need a re-boot. Or a HBF something. Ho hum

I'm a bit stuck on what to cook now the turkey's gone. You get out of routine.

That’s still in our list of stuff we hope to eventually watch but complain because it’s an hour or over and it’s all a bit of an effort.

DH is watching the darts. I clearly haven’t gone for my early night.

Watched all of Watchmen - well worth sticking with it. Then tidied kitchen.

Am not at my most sparkling best this morning... though stupid cat does't care, as long as I wear a fluffy dressing gown and act as her own personal cat-bed-with-built-in-heating.

Very scenic outside today - with mist and sunrise and wildlife. (I scared a deer and had a formation fly-past from swans)

It's sunny here today!! OMG! I haven't seen the sun in ages!

I'm working 17-21 this evening, after that Fräsan and I will dine on prawns with aioli and some pink fizz.

I think I will join you with some pink fizz tonight - both DC out, so it will just be me & the cats tonight, boy do I know how to party! Have plenty of films to watch though so will be well entertained. Food choice is less refined than yours though - homemade cottage pie from the freezer

And on a positive note - here the day is already 5 minutes longer than on the shortest day - yay!

It's sheer bloody-minded stubborness Apricot (Surely not? Said no wench ever). Actually, if something is keeping me interested then I can stay awake. (Unless Brian Cox is narrating it, then it's just soporific central.)

We've had lovely weather here today - went out for a walk and was was slightly alarmed by how high the water is. I've never seen it up to the footbridge in the past 40 years it looks more like a raft than a bridge at the moment.

I'm currently darning my wellie socks. Control your excitement. I couldn't find wool to match so they re now pink socks with blue heels

We were allowed to leave work a bit early today so I’ve been able to do an extra wash and then I don’t think I’ve moved from the settee. Tomorrow I plan to do some ironing.

I watched Florence Foster Jenkins earlier (rather sad), just finished Mamma Mia. trying to decide whether to start Ghostbusters, Love & Friendship, Local Hero, the Duchess or Defiance. Frankly too much choice

No great faf so far. ScaredyCat is spooked by the intermittent fireworks - she is trying to get inside my cardigan........

I've seen Florence Foster Jenkins, I've started Mamma Mia (the second one) but didn't get very far, I really like Ghostbusters and Love and Friendship (I was very disappointed the first time I saw Love and Friendship because I misunderstood what it was about so liked it much better the decond time).

Letus don't know really, what I really don't like is Marvel.
