I’m such a wuss when it comes to travelling. I can do the train and am confident now to travel around London —mostly— on my own. Flying would be another matter.

I’ve got another Death in Paradise on. I really love that beach “shack”.

Travelling on your own is quite fun in that you can do whatever you want. but less fun if you don't have a partner in crime, e.g. to snigger with at the inlaid decorations on gun butts. Just for example . (You must go to the Wqallce collectio next time you're in London Wicked - Louis XIII's pistols are quite... surprising? Informative? Educactional?

I remember last year I ended up buying DS and adult sized xmas jumper and sewing the cuffs up to DS because only THAT jumper would do. We don't seem to have a Xmas jumper day this year - or not one I know about. At least I know that the jumper will still fit

Anyway, I had a fairly fun night out (works xmas do)

Fortunately neither DC has ever wanted to wear a Christmas jumper - we just pay the money & don't wear one. Result. If quizzed they would just claim they are saving the planet

We have a been bored mindless at a beer festival. Now we are home and I am being a cat bed, with a hot chocolate (which I can't reach because cat. )

We went to the Christmas Fair at the village up the road this afternoon because DGS was playing in the school steel band. The church hall was mentioned and I assumed it would be inside on seats in the warmth, but noooooo, it was stood outside in the cold. Anyway it was very nice in retrospect, when I'd warmed up afterwards. He now wants a sleepover.

No more cards done here either. Panic is setting in.

I’m trying a toffee flavoured vodka whilst watching Captain America Civil War. So much FAF. I know I like the latter, I’m reserving judgment on the former.

We've had tea and board games, which was fun (though I didn't win either)

DH still full of illness and I rather fancy an early night...

The pink fizz last night was very good though & we continued our Gavin & Stacey catch up ready for the Christmas Special. Love Nessa, as always, but oh dear god Pam & Mick just get better with every watch

Waiting for DS1 to get up for sportingactivity. Then it’s yet more homework with DS2. I emailed school again last week to ask for another meeting. He’s still struggling.
