Emergency new thread, with suitable decorations.
Fill your boots...

Grubby HBFs in leather are in our imaginations residence.
Sense of humour required, and tolerance for domestic tedium.

Evening wenches.

at the differing reviews Grin

It was properly dark before 5 tonight. At least all the lights in the car park near work are working —for now—. Hasn’t stopped raining all day.

I’m knackered. I need an early night.

Properly laughing at feedback forms being required for dreams now - was there a freeform box at the end where you could complain about the lack of Musketeers?

LetUsPrey · 07/11/2019 07:49

Morning wenches.

Lack of musketeers? Noooo.

It appears to be absolutely weeing it down here. Great.

That radio comedy set in Sweden finished. It was fab. Wicked is there a Swedish chocolate bar called Plop? And a fermented herring thing in a can that gets opened in the summer?

Swagger Inn thread 163 - it's raining --HBFs-- rain. FML...
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/11/2019 08:12

There's definitely a fermented herring thing somewhere Nordic - regulalry comes up in travel things about 'cultural experiences that you really want to avoid if you can '

No bonkers feedback dreams tonight that I remember, but then DH did his thing of being awake and thrashing about and huffing so that he woke me too, and he could grumble to me about how he was awake. Hmm So he probably interrupted it and I don't remember.

It's also peeing down here - quite heavily at times. Then it stops, so that you think it's safe to go out and feed the chickens, except it's just waiting and once you're out there and committed to chucking food at about and cleaning out the coop, it starts raining again.

Letus, yes, Plopp is bloody delicious, fermented herring not so much, at least in my opinion, but I only tried it once. It stinks like the gates to hell are open. But there's some die hard fans out there. I actually handed out samples in a supermarket at the age of 19, stunk the whole place down Confused

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 07/11/2019 13:57

Listening to The Cold Swedish Winter, wow, we really are a bunch of nutters Grin

ApricotCrush · 07/11/2019 18:17

Evening. Raining here too. .

Fermented herring sounds disgusting.

I had a snogging dream last night. He was very good, but I can't remember who he was, so I don't know whether to congratulate my subconscious or be appalled by it. Probably the latter knowing my dreams. Wasn't asked for feedback. Hmm

LetUsPrey · 07/11/2019 20:36

Evening wenches.

But when you get back into the Tav after feeding he chickens, etc Helen you’ll be approached by the HBF of your choice who will be more than happy to get you out of your wet clothes.

I love the sound of all the Swedish stuff - and the accents - in that radio programme Grin

Just pretend it was Athos or chap from Versailles whose name I am completely blanking on. Starts with an M. Am Grin at no feedback.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 07/11/2019 20:43

And the thing about Tomten and porridge is totally true Grin

LetUsPrey · 07/11/2019 20:59

DS2 has to do something for school to do with how different countries celebrate Christmas. I suggested he ask for Sweden and it’s one of the ones he’s got Grin. I’m going to mention Tomten to him

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 07/11/2019 21:24

Oh, fab! Don't forget about Donald Duck, that's also true Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/11/2019 21:53

I have no idea what you two are on about Grin But porridge. Hmmm. Yes - I think I'll soak some oats tonight.

I'm sorry to report that there were precisely zero HBFs waiting to rip my wet clothes off me. Inconsiderate sods. I also second the vote for 'choose your own' HBF for snogging purposes in dreams.

BBC4 Extra radio comedy called The Cold Swedish Winter Helen - I recommend it, particularly the Christmas episode Grin

Haven’t had chicken kiev for ages. Bloody love it though. Might add it to this week’s shopping list.

Trying to watch as much of The Killers at Glastonbury as I can as we’re getting a new tv box thing installed tomorrow —assuming it goes smoothly which is entirely possible it won’t— and all our programmes will disappear. This is one of the very few things we won’t be able to re-download though. No Brandon in or on my box sadly

FancyFancy · 07/11/2019 22:20

Maybe just as well you don't remember who it was apricot - those MN threads on embarrassing sex dreams are hilarious. And traumatic Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/11/2019 07:23

Morning Brew

Heard this song on BBC thingy, it's really trallvänlig (easy to sing along to), a bit cute and silly, something to brighten up your Friday morning Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/11/2019 08:06

Urghhhhhhhhhh that song is entirely too cheery and jaunty for this time in the morning.

Frosty this morning, and wet underfoot where there's no frost, but we do have sunshine atm. And a load of washing in the machine - domestic thrillz.

LetUsPrey · 08/11/2019 08:14

Morning wenches.

Running late aaarrgghhh!

FancyFancy · 08/11/2019 08:29

Morning
Really frosty here. And foggy

Also running a bit late....laters

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/11/2019 11:53

I put the washing out about an hour ago because the sun had been breaking through on and off all morning. It has been raining ever since. I decided I'll go out and get it back again to spin it dry when it stops raining. By current estimates, that will be 18th December.
FML and all that...

Also, I've been asked to do a new project, with the closing line of my colleague

Evening wenches.

Brrrrr. Friday but brrrrr. Work was shit and apparently some of us (including me) are expected to work outside our hours for free, not have a full lunch, etc whilst it’s perfectly acceptable for others to be late in every day and for others to piss about chatting and laughing very fucking loudly.

Washing also done here. If I can get up off the settee, I’ll empty the machine.

ApricotCrush · 08/11/2019 17:51

Evening. Lovely day here, surprisingly. I didn't have enough washing to justify a machine load so I did a bit of hand washing instead.

I've read those threads Fancy, terrifying.

Nice video WW.

Thanks for the dream inducing pics Helen won't work.
