I think the deep fried things were meant to be some sort of mini pasty but they didn't all seal properly when they cooked.

Had a shocking night's sleep - zombied my way through breakfast, packed DS off to school and then went back to bed where I had a bonkers HBF dream . (I was also knackered in the dream to the extent that I was dreaming I couldn't open my eyes at times.) Anyway - for your delight...
For reasons that escape me, DH and I went to a garden centre (I think we were buying wood to make shelves) where we met up TB's other half and she came back us as to stay, because...? Who knows. She was suitably entranced by a display of local wildlife mooching in out garden, including (there was a rugby match?! No. Maybe. Not sure - dream weirdness.) Anyway - fox and cubs were in the garden and got chased off by a fox terrier (don't ask me - I have no idea where the fox terrier came from. I don't even know any) and a red deer went running through the garden. I then had a nap (in the dream) and wandered downstairs where I spotted TB nattering outside in the garden with DH (in beardy Rosmersholm mode with addition of Strike-type coat). Minor flailing in my dream - I'm in PJs, tatty dressing gown and bed hair. Can't run upstairs and get changed because that looks weird (in my dream brain) whilst dream-flailing, I knocked over a floor-standing lamp, and hence TB comes into the room and I'm sitting on the floor trying to put the lamp together. I'm told to hold the end of a tape measure by TB while he and DH measure and cut wood. His other half appears at which point to see what's going on I say "They're doing 'man things' with wood." And then wake up thinking WTAF?! Nice to know that TB gets on well with DH in my dreams anyway...

So there we go, at least there was some FAF to look at, and I think I fixed the lamp as well.

Meanwhile I have cleared my email inbox and now I need to make it rain hang out washing.

Afternoon. I've been knitting all afternoon, whilst watching 80s rock ballad videos. Made me quite nostalgic.

That's quite some dream Helen. Better than mine. I was in a bath and sitting on a chair chatting to me was Robert Peston (WTAF ) . I'm thinking I want to get out of the bath because it's getting cold but can't because Robert Peston. No idea how that one ended.

Oh God, I've just made the mistake of updating the Facebook app on my iPad and it's horrendous. My groups all look different, they've got Announcements at the top, then Highlights, then Top Posts, then Invite friends to join group, then Events, then Conversation Starters, and the rest of the posts are all over the place. Arrrggghh! I just want to see posts in chronological order, bumped up when people add to them. Why can't anyone leave anything alone, why???

Lots of rain today. Meeting at school went well, did some shopping, then just pottered around at home tidying and stuff.

Windy here and some rain. Got a couple of new chickens, and that's about all there is to report. FB is always an arse - they way you see a post, then the screen refreshes and it's vanished... Twitter's not much better. DH has been watching MasterShout and now Football.

I have been slumped on the sofa all afternoon watching gymnastics. It was delightfully full of s and potential inuuendo's Also we won some medals.

I also read a rather confusing and disappointing book which had 'page-turner' as a review on the cover. I think it was, but only in the sense that I kept turning them in the hope that it would eventually make more sense/I would work out who the characters were and how they related to each other. I think that it did make sense in the end but I couldn't really bring myself to care. Shame.

Glad that MrA is back to work. Hope that ChezLetUs have had a fun day and Fancy saw her film and Wicked is under Kylo's cloak
