And wenches can use their imaginations to make the temperature rise and anything else they can think of.

I watched the womens' singles and then did carpet cleaning. Was disappointed in the Singles - I wanted Serena to win, and I wanted good match. But Halep played out of her skin and was brilliant, so it was a bit one sided. Never mind Halep was v. good and deserved to win.

I am eating chocolate and I have a bit of a headache. DH has cycling on Tv - at being sent to sleep by a programme about not sleeping Grin

I agree with the plan to go to Apricot's - can MrA have a sleepover with DS and then carry on plumbing?

LetUsPrey · 13/07/2019 22:34

That doubles final was one of the best matches I’ve seen. My favoured pair didn’t win though, and I’d wanted Serena to win earlier, so I’m hoping for third time lucky tomorrow for Federererer.

So we’ll need lots of different drinks - alcoholic and non-alcoholic - snacks, and many many HBFs, and it’s wenches round to Apricot’s.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/07/2019 08:59

Morning. Fingers crossed for tennis today - I shall mostly be painting... (is lovely and sunny though, so I shall stick on some washing, which will then spend the rest of the day in a damp, washed pile in the washing machine instead of a dry, unwashed pile in the laundry basket Hmm Grin

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 09:43

Morning wenches. You need a washing HBF to prompt you to put the washing out Helen. Give you incentives for dealing with the laundry basket.

I need something similar to get me out to do my exercisething this morning. I’m dressed and ready to go. Warm up done. Can’t be arsed though.

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 15:37

I did my run. I didn’t want to and I thought I would walk some of it, but I didn’t so I’m very pleased with myself. Which is just as well I did go because yesterday i had two ice cream and two packets of crisps as well as assorted other rubbish and meals.

No HBI today. Been to see parents and now have my arse firmly installed on the settee to watch the men’s final. I bloody love watching Federererer. Trying to catch sight of The Batch and Hidders in the royal box.

How’s Sigrid Wicked?

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 14/07/2019 16:10

She's pk, we went to the vet today again since I was worried she might be constipated but the vet said she wasn't. She got some fluids since she was dehydrated. Hopefully I can get an appointment for an ultrasound as soon as possible so we know for sure if it's tumours or not.

ApricotCrush · 14/07/2019 16:17

Afternoon. Yes, yes, do come round any time wenches, I'm on my own as usual.

Also watching Wimbledon, although I tend to get bored and go off to do something else then come back.

What are you painting Helen?

Well done on the running LetUs.

What's with this MN thing of linking certain words for stuff they're recommending? Are they on commission?

ApricotCrush · 14/07/2019 16:18

Oh, poor Sigrid, hope she'll be ok.

FancyFancy · 14/07/2019 16:23

Back home. Need to get some work done

ww - I really hope Sigrid's ok.

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 16:47

Pity the link things don’t work for HBFs Apricot Grin

Bet it would be lovely to sit out in your garden in the summer

Hope you get an appointment for her quickly Wicked

Fancy don’t exhaust yourself - you’ll be of no use to the HBFs

Actually, you should really get that work done.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/07/2019 17:08

I am painting walls (it's not v. exciting), and waiting for the first coat to dry before the second one goes on. So watching tennis. Federer seems to be doing quite well the tough commentators seem to think he's too old and doddery to last 5 sets Hmm I'm not sure they're watching the same game as me (as Djokovic sprays another shot wide).

How odd - my last post now has a link to best buy washing machines. (wonder if this one will too) It's a bit like the pointless links you get in newspaper articles sometimes.

Well done on the running LetUs - the HBFs will be very appreciative of your stamina levels.

Fingers crossed (still) for Sigrid.

Enjoy your work Fancy - I'm choosing to believe that 'work' is TAE for HBF-related activities Grin I wish that 'painting' was....

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 17:35

Everything what you said Helen about the tennis.

Ooo hadn’t thought about increased stamina levels!

I have Pimms which is only fitting as I fret madly watch the tennis

New Poldark tonight. Hope they’ve ditched the slo-mo camera for the staring out to sea scenes

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/07/2019 17:36

tennis update: chewing nails...

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 17:45

I cannot cope with this

I coped nicely with seeing The Batch and Hidders though

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/07/2019 18:10

Oh - I must have looked away at the wrong moment. I shall live vicariousy through you LetUs.

FFS - I need to go do a second coat of paint.

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 20:25

Well that was an epic match but not the result I wanted. Watching women’s doubles final now. These doubles matches don’t half get feisty!

Ironing is done. Just looking round now for my HBF rewards. Found them!

Did painting and listened to the tennis and then cricket on the radio, which keeps you informed, but really not as good as watching.

However, the painting is done, so I think I probably need rewards as well. Grin

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 21:47

Athos has noticed you’ve got paint in all sorts of places Helen and you’ll need help scrubbing it off

We’re about to start Poldark

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/07/2019 22:28

Oooh, a good rub-down beckons then Grin

Needless to say, we are not Poldarking. We are watching Sky Sports here they are being excitable about the cricket. (Hurrah for English* Cricket Team.)

*captained by Irish bloke, which Twitter has gleefully been pointing out, along with various other immigrants on the team. Grin

LetUsPrey · 14/07/2019 23:18

I’ve seen that post Helen Grin

CprRoss was jolly lovely. I’m going to congratulate him in the hayloft on his return.

LetUsPrey · 15/07/2019 08:00

Morning wenches.

Lovely sunny day here. Running a bit late though.

Hope you get that appointment today Wicked.

Suppose I’d better get a shimmy on.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/07/2019 08:17

Morning all. Cloudy here with possible drizzle - or my arms were just feeling a bit prickly or something. But it felt like drizzle. Nothing exciting going on here. I need to clear up the painting debris and see how it looks in the light of day. and also see if the latest, very late. piece of work has come in yet. FFS. Th's is not the 'beginning of July' though the delay did mean that I had plenty of time to paint. mixed blessings..

The HBFs are admiring your shimmy LetUs Grin

Fingers crossed for Sigrid's appointment and a good day for all.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 15/07/2019 10:07

Rain here. I kind of like it when it rains, I don't feel guilty about not being outdoors then.

Sigrid is doing her ultrasound tomorrow.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 15/07/2019 13:31

Watching the ABC Murders with John Malkowich, a bit depressing.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/07/2019 14:10

Good new re. ultrasound...
