Fucking awful day here too. This work at DS's just will not lie down, problems all the time, I wish they'd never seen the house. Poor DH gets the blame for everything that goes wrong and he's worked so hard there.

Massage didn’t happen. Turned up for appointment. Door locked, knocked and phoned. Sent message via Facebook. Knocked and phoned again. No answer to anything. Gave it 15 minutes in total in the cold and dark. Came home. That’s put the tin hat on a rather shit week.

So I’ll get the proper List and work the kinks out .

What is it with wenches and off the scale weird dreams recently? I dreamt I was out shopping and saw U2 walking out of the doors of the shopping centre in front of me. Not that weird. Except Bono was wearing burgundy, PVC/leather dungarees.

You want wierd dreams? I had a cyst on my head. And then (in my dream) I checked it, and there were half a dozen of them on my head, shaped like toy loaves of bread. I mean, WTAF ?!?!

Also FFS at MrA getting grief over house renovations, and bloody masseuse people not keeping appointments, and just FFS.

I cried off badminton tonight because I was too tired and I wanted a bath and early night. So I'm watching john Wick

Poor DS staggered in at 6:30 because he forgot to turn his alarm off, then compensated for waking me up with a snuggle and singing me a lullaby - aww.

I didn't get a bath, just had a shower instead, but it was rather later than planned and I wanted to go to bed. John Wick had a very high body count, but was definitely entertaining.

Today's exciting plans are more painting and getting DS room finished off.

Poor Kevin-the-decathlete got injured , it did put a dampener on the athletics, but KJT did her best to cheer me up - fabulous performance.

That sounds super sweet Helen and a lovely way to start the day. How does it take so long to do a child’s bedroom? DS2’s took sodding ages. I think it took longer than completely redoing the kitchen.

Massage person messaged me with a genuine reason for missing appointment. He’d tried contacting me but only had work number and no one answered (doesn’t surprise me at that time of the day) and I’d have already left anyway. So I’ll give it another go.

Today’s open day was very good. The first two were city universities but this one was a campus. DS1 thought it was “alright”. High praise indeed. My legs are aching rather a lot now though from all the walking about.

Afternoon.

Haven't done much today. DH hasn't been to DS's bit of a stand-off going on but has fitted their old front door into our garage and we now have all external doors matching. Such excitement!
