And wenches can use their imaginations to make the temperature rise and anything else they can think of.

Evening. Lovely day here, been sitting in the sun but there are loads of thunder flies about, they've driven me mad. I've had a shower and am still scratching. Hmm

Tennis was excellent, I wanted Federerer to win, but I'm ok with the result.

Watched Poldark. It was a bit disjointed I thought, all that jumping around between locations every few seconds.

DH has eaten out, so I only have me to cater for, something quick and easy.

Good luck for tomorrow to Sigrid.

Evening wenches.

I would hate to disappoint the HBFs Helen Grin

Was a bit on the dark side wasn’t it Wicked? I thought John Malkovich was very good and as a stand-alone drama I enjoyed it. Not really a Poirot for me though.

You obviously need at least one HBF with a bottle of something soothing to apply to wherever you’re itching Apricot. I kept having to say out loud to myself “right so this is Trenwith isn’t it?” or “back in London now” when I was watching Poldark. And when he took —only— his waistcoat off, I said “pfft I hope he doesn’t think he’s folded that properly” Grin

Everything crossed for tomorrow’s ultrasound

ApricotCrush · 15/07/2019 19:57

Haha LetUs, DH said 'look at the way he's folding that waistcoat'. Grin

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 15/07/2019 20:13

although I’m sure he didn’t follow it up with thinking “no need to stop with the waistcoat” Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/07/2019 21:01

at Poldark commentaries. the Guardian review says The story gallops along like Seamus the horse on a Cornish clifftop. It’s all faintly ridiculous, but I couldn’t imagine it any other way.

Sad Apricot - now I'm feeling itchy in sympathy.

It finally got hot and sunny here at about 5pm - a bit late in the day tbh, but better than nothing. In exciting domestic news, I tried to tidy up a massive pile of clothes by my bed. It's a lot tidier, but mostly because I now have a massive pile of clothes on the bed Hmm I ought to go and carry on really, or I'm going to forget about it, go up at bed when I'm knackered, and then swear loudly when there's no space for me to get in!

LetUsPrey · 15/07/2019 23:01

I saw that review Helen Grin

Hope you’re feeling soothed Apricot.

I’ve just been up to get into pjs and, guess what? Big pile of clothes on the bed. It’s obviously catching.

Think I’ll have a quick YouTube and Pinterest browse and then hayloft.

FancyFancy · 15/07/2019 23:30

Sadly work really was work helen. And today has been mostly spent working I really need a few days off. So I can get the housework done and mow the lawn. I need a housewife. Am attempting to lift my mood by watching the cycling.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/07/2019 23:47

DH also has cycling on, but I suspect for different reasons than you Fancy Grin.
We have finished Gentleman Jack and now i have to go upstairs and move the pile of clothes from my bed to the floor... I have at least made lunch for tomorrow though.

FancyFancy · 16/07/2019 00:05

I think you could be right helen Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/07/2019 07:45

Urgh. Morning. Next time DH suggests that we just watch another episode and 'It's only work' the next day, I will ignore him. He has decided to ignore himself too....
#Zombies

Still at least it's nice and sunny outside, so I can look out of the window while at BoringOfficeJob and wish that I wasn't in the office. Hmm

LetUsPrey · 16/07/2019 07:53

Morning wenches. Urgh at being so busy Fancy. Don’t worry though, I’m wenchfully keeping the HBFs happy, although they’re keen for you to finish your work

Grin at watching the same stuff but for different reasons

Athos said he’ll perk you up Helen

Was supposed to be sunny today. DS2 has a morning of outdoor activities which he’s excited about. It is of course raining and he’s now refusing to wear shorts even though it’ll clear up and be warm by about 9.30.

All the luck for today Wicked

FancyFancy · 16/07/2019 08:48

Morning. Good luck for today ww. Must get going to work, at least I have Poldark to look forward to now - any wenches watched it yet?

LetUsPrey · 16/07/2019 09:00

I’ve watched it as has Apricot. I think they’re drawing us in slowly .... Grin

ApricotCrush · 16/07/2019 16:58

Afternoon. Started off sunny but didn't last long.

DGS is 'helping' DH in the workshop. Don't know what they're doing, but they're making a terrible racket. Hmm

How did the scan go WW?

OP posts:
WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 16/07/2019 17:38

Not looking good. They also took biopsies to make sure, waiting for the results.

LetUsPrey · 16/07/2019 19:32

Evening wenches.

I shall put a pair on also to try to block out the noise of a neighbour who’s using some sort of grinding machine which is VERY FUCKING NOISY and which he’s been using (according to DH who’s been off) all day yesterday and today. Fancied sitting in the garden to relax after my “run” but, seeing as I can hear it clear as anything whilst I’m in my living room, I’ll not bother.

Oh Wicked Sad Many many wenchy hugs and cwtches

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/07/2019 21:17

Sad wicked will keep fingers crossed still...

Should we send Vinnie next door to deal with the noisy neighbour LetUs? Because that is fecking annoying. Especially having earned a nice relaxing sit-down after exercising HBFs

at noise chez apricot though. Small children have an interesting concept of 'helping' Grin

LetUsPrey · 16/07/2019 22:55

Excellent idea re Vinnie Helen. Seems to have been going on for months on and off. Perhaps he’s building an extra large patio.

I’m off to the hayloft to help CptRoss not fold his clothes neatly.

FancyFancy · 16/07/2019 23:39

ww & keeping everything crossed

I am watching cycling - am a bit behind & am trying to catch up. Also have Poldark & the netball to catch up on. There really aren't enough hours in the day.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/07/2019 07:51

Morning. Warm and sunny again at the moment. Need to get moving for another day of scintillating excitement. Ish. LOL at helping to not fold clothes neatly I'm going to have to watch Poldark aren't I? Well, DH is out enough of an evening, I'm sure I can squeeze Poldark in.

LetUsPrey · 17/07/2019 08:00

Morning wenches. Mega weird dreams plus repeated attacks of foot cramp did not make for a good night’s sleep.

You’ll just have to ditch the work Fancy. It’s the only way.

I definitely would Helen [not a surprise]

Wicked

FancyFancy · 17/07/2019 11:15

Morning - day off today as I worked Monday. Have just watched some of the netball from earlier in the week & now need to mow the lawn......oh the excitement. Would prefer to be watching the Poldark gif that helen posted

ApricotCrush · 17/07/2019 13:38

Afternoon. Cloudy but warm here.

I've been surprisingly motivated today and have cleaned some windows and washed some curtains. Don't know where that came from. Confused

We watched The Day We Walked on the Moon last night. Awesome. We watched it live at the time, got up in the middle of the night. I can't believe some people think it never happened and was all fabricated.

Co-incidentally, there was a partial eclipse last night. I had to go out into the road in my dressing gown as it was behind a tree. Hmm

Hoping for the best WW.

Who's that asleep on my sun lounger? Oh, it's you LetUs, it's alright you can stay there.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 17/07/2019 17:11

Sigrid's got agressive cancer so I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow for her final sleep. I was prepared for this, I just feel numb at the moment.

LetUsPrey · 17/07/2019 17:51

Oh Wicked Sad. I’m so sorry. You can never really be prepared even when your head’s telling you what’s what. Lots and lots cuddles tonight
