And wenches can use their imaginations to make the temperature rise and anything else they can think of.

DH manages to set stuff up —eventually— and use WhatsApp Helen, which means I have high hopes for you Grin

It’s important isn’t it Fancy to have a wide range of interests? No point limiting oneself

Did you have a good evening yesterday Apricot?

That’s a very pretty jug Wicked . No idea about china and pottery and stuff.

I’m watching the final Harry Potter. It’s towards the end after the battle. Scuse me while I have a sob.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 21/07/2019 18:57

And yet more Santi - if you have a half hour to spare he was/is at the San Diego Comic Con on a panel at

apricot - it does actually seem relatively simple, it's just the whole 'getting my phone to work as it should' thing, since the whole fiasco of trying to get a new one. as it it, WhatsApp vanishes from my current phone at the end of the year because it's not going to be supported any more. FFS etc, but I seem to be able to communicate with people anyway Grin It's even worked for arranging a sleepover for DS and a friend Shock Grin

Today I have mostly been working, doing laundry, gardening, and working. 'tis most exciting. Not. But am cracking on with the newest project now and getting my teeth into it.

Hope everyone's having a nice day...

Haven't heard of Grindley WW but Google tells me it's a very old company from Stoke-on-Trent, which is the pottery centre in this country. Anyway, it's a very pretty jug.

Yes, LetUs we had a lovely evening, although we waited well over an hour for the meal, as they were very busy. We nudged them a bit, and they didn't charge us for our bottle of wine, which was nice.

ApricotCrush · 21/07/2019 19:12

Oh well done Helen, glad you've been able to get it to work.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 21/07/2019 20:16

FFS MN - why didn't I see anything beyond Apricot's post?

That's a lovely jug wicked

We're watching a moon landing programme (still/again) DS is fairly fascinated, which is good.

Passes tissue to LetUs re. Harry Potter

In HBF news, I've worked out why TomEllis doesn't do much for me - He's just a bit too much like an Action Man doll in a lot of pictures... (assuming the picture posts)

LetUsPrey · 21/07/2019 21:08

So it’s the equipment that’s the issue Helen, not you? You’re obviously not used to that scenario, what with HBFs never having equipment issues. The video shall be saved for later viewing.

Excellent nudging Apricot!

DS2 was giggling away at Miranda with me just now Grin

I am happy to say that TE May have the muscles of an Action Man doll but that’s where the similarity ends Grin

We’re about to start Poldark.

LetUsPrey · 21/07/2019 22:46

CptRoss was jolly passionate tonight, well with his speeches anyway.

I should head to the hayloft.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 21/07/2019 23:26

Tom Ellis is ActionMan - his designer stubble looks like it was applied with a burnt cork.

I have to head for the hayloft too, where Athos will demonstrate that he doesn't have to use a burnt cork to simulate facial hair.... Wink

FancyFancy · 22/07/2019 00:04

Mmm TE and Santi pics on this page - lovely!

LetUsPrey · 22/07/2019 07:58

Morning wenches.

He’s got a burnt what? ohhh cork. Thank goodness for that. Was just going to say if you’re going to sunbathe in the buff, you should apply suncream everywhere to avoid the burnt “cork”.

So DS2 was up bright and early and by the time I came down was having a strop at his game. Calmed him down. And I’ve got a road closure all week to look forward to on the way to and from work so will have a magical mystery tour diversion. Such fun.

It’s going to be warm today so let’s make sure that all HBFs and wenches are properly protected, and that they have applied suncream.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 22/07/2019 08:11

LOL, no I wasn't thinking of burnt cork as - ouch!

Speaking of 'ouch', much soothing cream has been applied by Athos after he finished demonstrating the effects of real stubbly-beardyness Grin
(I wish )

Currently cloudy here, but the washing has pretty much dried overnight on the line, and the forecast is hot. I may spend the day lying down in a cool dark room.

Have a good day all - fingers crossed for decent commutes despite road closures Sad

FancyFancy · 22/07/2019 12:08

I'm sooooo caring

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 22/07/2019 14:13

Thoughtful - that's what you are Fancy Grin

FancyFancy · 22/07/2019 15:57

Thank you helen - I am aren't I? Grin

And continuing on this thoughtfulness - World Swimming championships are on BBC atm - a heads up for all wenches who like a buff man in their swimmers.....

ApricotCrush · 22/07/2019 18:25

Evening.

We've had DGS for the day and thought we'd start the holidays off well by having an activity day it won't last. We went to the playground where he made a friend who had nerf guns Shock, fed the ducks/swans and he then watered himself the garden.

No, Tom Ellis isn't for me either Helen. Not that I've seen him in anything. at burnt cork.

Poldark was as confusing as ever, plot holes all over the place, but it's all part of the fun.

We've got Killing Eve to watch tonight.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 22/07/2019 19:12

Evening wenches. Sneaked through this morning just before they closed the road - hurrah! Diversion with a billion other vehicles added an hour on to my journey home - booooo. Crikey I’m knackered and I’ve got a headache.

Did you get a lie down in a cool, darkened room with an HBF Helen? Even if only in your imagination?

I’ll get the bottles of aftersun ready. I suspect some HBFs fell asleep in the sun, what with being exhausted and all.

I liked that French swimmer, Camille I think he was called. Don’t think he competes at this level any more but obviously I’ll have to check. The wench way.

That is a very active day Apricot. Have a lie down (with an HBF of course). Plotholes in Poldark? Never Grin

We’re also watching Killing Eve tonight.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 22/07/2019 19:39

Truly Fancy - your dedication and thoughfulness knows no bounds. I expect you will watch the swimming in detail in case anywench misses it and needs to know who was the most FAF the results Grin

Apricot - Star please come and babysit for me over the summer holidays?

We've got nothing to watch - or rather, I have no time to watch anything.

LetUsPrey · 22/07/2019 22:45

she’s going to look after it for a little while so Athos can help you relax

We’ve watched Killing Eve. Very good.

I have absolutely not been browsing Pinterest.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 22/07/2019 23:02

Yes please to Athos. I have just closed my spreadsheet and everything

Funnily enough I have been on pintrest, but it was boring work-related.

Off to hayloft - night all.

FancyFancy · 23/07/2019 00:09

I think that would've been Camille Lacourt letus

LetUsPrey · 23/07/2019 07:52

Morning wenches.

That’s the chap Fancy. Excellent breaststroker (actually backstroke but it had to be done Grin). In fact, very skilled at all strokes

There’s work stuff on Pinterest? That’s like there being educational stuff for DS2 on YouTube - a bit of a waste frankly.

It’s a bit hot already. I’m off to check maps apps to see if I can spot a better route to work.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 23/07/2019 07:59

FFAS at MN - it keeps not showing me the most recent messages.

Fingers crossed for commute today LetUs and a good day for everyone
I need to get out the door to BoringOfficeJob - where they have working aircon!!! Hurrah!!! Never have I been so keen on the iddea of work Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/07/2019 16:38

Grin at types carefully Apes

Yuk at road closure Letus

Been with mum and sis for a bit of shopping and lunch, home now on the couch knackered.

ApricotCrush · 23/07/2019 18:08

Evening. Very hot here, but I don't mind it. DGS has been playing in the sprinkler again. Never mind the fact that we're on a water meter. Shock

I thought that swimmer was Jonathan Rhys Meyers for a minute Fancy. Confused

Yay for aircon Helen.

Hope you found an easier route to work LetUs.

Sounds like a nice day WW.

We didn't watch Killing Eve as DH says he didn't see Poldark so we had another go at him that. Still confusing. Will try Killing Eve tonight.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 23/07/2019 18:45

Evening wenches.

Hope the aircon made up for office stuff Helen.

Traffic still rubbish but I’m telling myself it’s just this week and I have plenty to listen to, and I had some water with me for the way home.

Lovely way to spend the day Wicked. Did you buy anything?

MiniMiniApricot has a fab grandma Smile at having another go at Poldark

It’s very fucking hot so I’ve sacked off the exercisething but I can’t escape the ironing.
