Horrendous flooding and now the water supply is being cut off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

PAnic buying in all the supermarkets. Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury is loosing it's water supply within the hour and won't be back on for several days!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting a shower in Bristol tomorrow too! Or maybe even a bath! Mm. Fortunately work has decided I'm non-essential, so the lack of childcare isn't a problem (apart from the fact I've not spent this long looking after DD with no time off since she was six months old ...).

Will you still get paid Don'tcallmebaby?

I'm off swimming today........then going on to a laundrette. Got a mumsnet meet-up tonight, so want to be smelling my best!

Went to waitrose in Cirencester yesterday, and stocked up with some easy meals, like pizza, lasagne, stuff you don't need to mucky a dish with etc etc.

Not much swimming gets done when going with ds though! But it does sound good for me when I say I'm going swimming every other day..... mean't wading around and catching ds when he jumps in, hoping my contact lens don't get washed out
He's just downed (cos I said bet he couldn't ) a whole bottle of water, no doubt we'll spend every 10 mins going to the toilets. Glad he hasn't cottoned on yet to going in the pool

Yeah, still getting paid Furball. They have decided DH needs to be in on Monday though, so that's a pain. I might stay in Bristol while he comes back here, though I haven't broached the subject yet!
