School bags in the 90's

What sort of school bag did girls have in the 90's?

Daughter is trying to source some for a school project but I honestly can't remember anything in particular.

Can you remember what you had around that time?

And we would graffiti them with tip ex

I had a canvas army surplus satchel. And one of those crossbody black cotton bags with embroidery and mirrors on. I also had a satchel i made myself out of patchwork pieces. All to be worn with my little vest tops and hippy skirts and dms.

Space it was so bright

I had a bubble bag 😂

Head bags slung over one shoulder, held by the shirt straps in one hand.

How can you 'feel' a memory?

I had a leather Unicco bag, does anyone remember these? I haven’t read all the thread yet so somebody may have already posted about these bags, they were all the rage in ‘93 - ‘96 and they were sold in shops like Internacionale, it had a long strap and the bags were black faux leather, you wore it to the side and the actual bag was a flat square shape, it had an oval silver plated tag thing on the front that simply said ‘Unicco’, god I loved my Unicco and even walked to the shopping centre, and back one day, just so that I could afford this bag, it was £10 and that’s all I had and if I had have paid busfares then I wouldn’t have been able to buy the bag! Aww nostalgia

Haha I see someone has already posted about slouch socks we loved these back in the day too! Also the ‘record’ bags as you’ve described them, were they Unicco by any chance?

I think I had a transparent orange plastic one
