Ds2 has horrendous hayfever so there has put him on super strength antihistamines and nose spray and us sending him for a coeliac blood test

Evening. Could we have some rain please? At night. I'm getting a bit worried about the flowers . I've given up on the lawn which now resembles weetabix. Although this might be a good thing because there won't be any roots for the chafer grubs to eat when they hatch. I'm assuming here that some probably hundreds of the beetles escaped the stomping and mowing.

Last night there was a huge spider in the laundry. It disappeared under the washing machine and I'm afraid it will appear in the kitchen. DH won't be any good, unless he can attack it with his crutches.

Good news about the food bank Bads, but poor DS2.

Still not got past Ep1 of Versaille because Dh says that he wants to watch too and needs to watch with me or he doesn't have a clue what's going on - "they all look the same" Yes, I say, because you're bloody 'watching' this through the screen of whatever it is you're playing on the tablet so you don't actually have a clue who looks like what because you're NOT ACTUALLY WATCHING!!! FFAS, etc. Maybe I shall just watch it anyway and then watch it again with him so I can explain what's going on without having to pay attention myself.
