Another moor fire started last week, closer than the other but still about 12 or so miles away so we’re absolutely not affected (apart from the smell of smoke), and thankfully no one who lives close is in danger I don’t think. Just been reading it’s got worse overnight. Can’t imagine how exhausted the fire crews are. They think it was set deliberately and someone’s been arrested. Dickhead.

I’m ignoring tidying. I’m so far beyond giving a shit today, it’s untrue. Went to Aldi this morning to stock up on —those popsicles— essentials and the car park was rammed, so I didn’t bother as I thought I’d seen a few left in the freezer. Guess who only had one left? FFS. And I can’t go on the way to work as they’ll defrost on the way, or on the way home as I don’t have time before collecting DS2. FFAS.

DS2 has been a snappy, grumpy so and so. With me anyway, been okay with DH. Would only do his reading homework with DH and, despite reminders, they’ve only just finished half of it now. No sign of bedtime approaching.

I think Poldark will have to wait until tomorrow.

That's a bit crap re. Poldark. I download it after the event to watch when DH is out doing sports stuff. I did think that everything was on Iplayer almost as soon as it was shown though.
