Hi wenches.

I've had DGS here today and have been trying to keep him amused while DH makes use of the scaffolding to cut the wisteria back from the roof and guttering. It's also in the roof but that's for another day. I've been watching some film about a rat and it was nearly as violent as Gunpowder, which was indeed very gory.

Couple of unpleasant bits but...it was an unpleasant time
Some of the stuff done during the reformation/restoration was jaw droppingly awful
The Tudors were pretty bloodthirsty too

Evening. v. v.v.v.BoringOfficeJob today I spent most of the day browsing newpapers online. Somewhere I saw the utterly stupid headline about 'BBC's Game of Thrones drama causes complaints.' Because Gunpowder is clearly based on GoT as far as that headline writer is concerned. FFAS stupid lazy headline writers.

No other news at all. We are all struck dumb with tedium.
