I didn't get any sledgehammering done. I spent the day baking (and emergency shopping) and then took the results off contribute to a birthday tea. Then it was dark.

Though DS had a lovely time with friends (and has spent far too much time in front of screens!) And now I need to take him up to bed...

I grew up in the 60s. The world has changed. I was sexually assaulted in a social situation, and DH in a sports environment. We didn't have a name for it then. We remember it, but we're not scarred for life. Rape and serious assault are one thing, but when office banter can result in dismissal, I think the world has gone mad. We just laughed it off and carried on.

DS2 has gone to bed. Voluntarily. DH is out and DS1 is upstairs. Not used to having the telly to myself at this time of the evening. Can’t say it’s peaceful though as next door have been playing loud music for well over an hour now. Think he’s rehearsing. Hope he stops soon.

Mind you, I’m tired too and could quite happily go to bed but have stuff to do.

Yes, he's been named and the first to speak up was his co host and she's been groped by him and he also sent her sextapes, she reported this to the management but since they're vvery chummy with him nothing happened. Other women in the production company on this show has also been harassed by him. Apparently he also expressed homofobic and rasist views. He has confessed to some of it and his shows have been cancelled.

I think it's good that women are speaking about this instead of keeping quiet, I think most women I know have had experience of groping etc and it's not ok.
