Have been in DIY hell and associated marital discord. tbf it was mostly based on a misunderstanding of me thinking that DH had waltzed off out with a parting shot of 'Those screws will be easy to get out' (one came out with a bit of an effort, one had to be drilled out (never a-fucking-again) and the last two got left for him to do, with me in a state of high dudgeon). Apparently what he had actually said was that he would get the screws out Oh well... He's only been able to get one of them out, so we will have to drill the bastard out tomorrow when DS isn't asleep.

apricot I have an entire folder devoted to pictures of LetUs's list, and another one for Fancy, and one for Madame OCD cataloguing tendencies from past life as librarian. I was surprised at the amount of 'Toms' in the List though - and still lacking the best one

Oh - and DH did use his initiative and got the washing onto the line and back in again. Initiative didn't extend as far as getting it upstairs, but again, tbf, mine doesn't always extend that far until I see the cats eyeing up the nice clean laundry as a potential cat-bed

It is also dark and gloomy here. We have had parents' evening (DS is doing fine and keeping the teachers on their toes) and more DIY has been going on: priming, hole filling "Oh dear, that doesn't actually fit there - it's far too big and general stuff. Now we are about to try and watch a bit of Blue Planet before bed time. And we've finally lit the woodburner...
