As much as I like noce smells-incense gives me a heeadache.

you should try japanese incense, much lighter and lovelier.

But fabric conditioner and washing powder do not smell nice. Ever. They are foul and full of chemicals. Personally, I think people who use fabric conditioner are so insecure that they just want to prove to people that they have washed their clothes. Except that it is no proof as the vile sm,ell lasts ages - can even survive multiple washes and drying outdoors in extreme cases.

When i was 17 or 18 the company i was working for there was a lady who used to wear channel no5. I think she used to bath in it, i have many allergies and every time she would come into the office i was working i would start sneezing i think she thought i was allergic to her.

You couldn't get in the lift when she had been it.

I just find the smell of poo combined with the throat catching, eye watering, gag-worth nappy bag 'scent' to be utterly sick making.

It's the same with 'fragranced wipes'. I walk down the street and can smell the shitty nappy/frangranced wipe combo drifting from bins. Utterly gad-worthy.

Hate air fresheners and napy sack smells but I love smelling pleasant.

I do think that fragrances such as Poison/Angel and several others etc should be banned however.

Even the posh ones smell nasty once they've gone off. People wear coats absolutely reeking with years of stale old perfume. It makes me want to heave.

I love her and bless her etc etc BUT my MIL makes the sheets stink when she comes to stay. It takes at least two washes to get the stench of chemical fragrance out.

If BO is really a problem, wash more. Don't cover it up. It doesn't work.

JP Gaultier makes me physically sick. I can smell it miles off. Loads of checkout people seem to use it (or maybe I'm just a captive audience) and I always have to leave my shopping and run. Angel isn't much better, but I like the packaging. Didn't feel like this at all before 1st pregnancy. I mainly use Jo Malone - lime and something - or Issey Miyake these days. I do amit a craving for my perfumes of youth - Opium, Miss Dior and Chanel no 19.

Also, we were all ill when cleaner (ex) added loo fresheners. Eughh!

i knew a girl who used to wear that Body Shop White Musk. I used to feel physically sick standing next to her. Hate perfumes in general but some are very odd indeed.

One of my pupils wears so much perfume that I ask her to get up whilst I demonstrate something. I just could not sit right next to her. My whole house smells when she leaves.

Still it beats the little boy with cheesy feet. Maybe if they came on the same day...

Not sure if it's been mentioned but people who have a fag then spray strong perfume are the absolute WORST. My mother does it and it makes me gag. Marlboro light and Gucci xx do not make a good combo.
