What decorative objects annoy you? Let's have a MN rant thread (for a change)

This week I am mostly hating decorative picture frames for tiny photos. Especially ones with teddybears on but that's not the point. Whether they're 6" across or marginally bigger than the photo itself, wallet-sized photos belong in wallets.

Real stuffed animals ....Taxidermy or whatever it is called.Like you really want to wake up with a feckin dead crow eye balling you.

those bloody awful trying to look like a real baby/princess di/some sort of wizened lookin elf child wax or porcelein dolls. dolls freak me out, houses full of the things are one of my worst nightmares.

Ethnic taterama brought back from holidays
"Tasteful" giant portraits of LOs
Decorative chess sets arranged for a game that's never going to start

I knew someone whose Mum had Eternal Beau everything - the butter dish, the curtains, the toaster - it was a vision!! Remember too that she'd tell people it was named thus "because it's got loads of bows on it"...

I desperately want some of those big butterflies on the outside walls of my house. Feel most peeved DH won't let me.

Those fookin' hilarious "Piggin" china pigs that you see in the front window of H Samuel.

Hate th big 'tasteful' photos of kids too.And anything disguising something else like radiator covers wheelie bin stickers etc

Teddybears anywhere outside a child's bedroom. Especially on grown women's clothes (yes, even Whinnie the Pooh) .

Well I love my twigs in a vase, they've got little lights on them too...

Beds with 20 artfully arrange cushions on them that you have to plough your way through before getting in to them and then spend hours reconstructung afterwards.
