Bath, I love it when the evenings get longer but I definitely don't love the fact that my children also go to sleep later and wake up earlier!!!

Sassy, I thought of my saying to you how the teenage years weren't all bad earlier, when DD1 was being hideous on a whole new level and laughed ironically at myself! She was so awful, DH threatened her with not being allowed to go on her school trip next weekend. 😱 She improved somewhat after that!

DS2 was up again all last night 😴. Am so fed up of it, both for his sake and mine.

DD1 was being as good as gold this morning, but DD2 seems to be channelling the teenage vibes 😱. We've already had a massive moan because I wouldn't let her wear a summer dress today(!!!) - it's flipping cold out there, even if it is sunny.

Now, apparently, there is absolutely NOTHING in the house for her to eat. I've told her that, quite frankly, if she's going to be that fussy she can just go hungry. 😠

Yes, should definitely do a calming dance, Sassy! Typically, yesterday was actually warmer than the forecast predicted and a summer dress would've been fine!!!

I've been trying to crochet as many squares as possible for the Chernobyl project, as there's a bit of a panic on at Woolly Hugs HQ! Once I've done those, I'm going to do some for the blanket for ZombieLad and Lass. I'll share those ones on here, if you like.

Got to go into town later to collect DD3's shoes that were ordered in for her. Hoping I can just quickly pop in and out!

He's still in hospital with the chest infection, then it'll be back to the other hospital for chemotherapy. It's a shit life.

Sassy, I'm wracking my brains but can't work out what the GEG thread is! I'm intrigued!

Went into town to collect DD3's shoes today. Typically, they didn't fit her properly as she has a high instep and they don't do them in a wider fitting. They had a grand total of three pairs of shoes for us to choose from! Luckily I really liked the pair we ended up with and so does DD3, who keeps saying "new shoes, pretty" over and over again!

Here they are! Hope you like her stripy socks! 😁

Grrr....can't see pic Malcolm....my stoopid phone can be a real pain in the derrière! Will look on computer when back in office tomorrow as can't be bothered to set up laptop now. Glad you sorted the shoes though

Morning! I am spending far too much time on MN at mo.... def check the threads out, think they'll be right up your street!

Work at a University. Nothing glam I might add but quite interesting and pays the bills. Lovely team and fairly flexible so if DD sick and I need to run / work from home, I can usually do it Used to be v senior in corporate world but turned my back on it when had DD then when ended up single mum changed direction completely to something more life than work balanced

Hope you, with or without younger DC, get to see BathsLad soon Bath. Was v glad to spot you on the GEG thread earlier this morn. You hadn't posted as much and was worrying something had happened!
