All fine thanks Malcolm Had the laziest day ever yesterday. DD with exDP this weekend & after my girls night out on Fri eve and the long week, I decided to have a very rare day off from everything....didn't get out of my PJ's until 7.15pm! And that was only because I had a friend coming over for curry takeaway and I had to drive to pick it up Anyway been years since I had a day like that and it was lovely. Today will be less so as lots of chores to catch up on now

Hope the bickering has subsided a bit by now?

Evening! BathsLad had his chemotherapy as usual, went to the lung hospital, has his usual chest infection, he might go home tomorrow. He'd like me to go over and visit, but DS2 has a fever and is off his food, so I'll wait until he's better. BathsLad has no immune system.

Ugh. A very quick one from me as I'm trying to type whilst cuddling DS2, who has woken up crying and won't settle. Again. He's been very snotty and dribbling today, I'm praying these wretched teeth come through soon and preferably all in one go, so it's all over and done with for him. Poor chap.

Bath, totally understand why you don't want to risk bringing any germs to BathsLad but it must be so difficult to have to stay away. for you and I hope all infections and lurgys are gone for good soon.

Bath, I think my DS2 went to sleep just as yours was waking up! Hope you're not too tired.

I think I had about 2 lots of 2 hours sleep last night, with a 4 1/2 hour of being awake in between. And the first lot wasn't great because I had DS2 in bed with me.

DD1 is off school today as her sore throat/cold is really bad. She was in tears with it earlier.

On the upside, I've got my hair appointment later. Do you think they'll mind if I have a little doze in the chair?!!!

I doubt it Malcolm!

I'm having a big breakfast sandwich today, I've bought DS2 a red smoothie and an apple, he's fallen asleep! If he doesn't wake up we can take it with us.

Hope you make it through the day Malcolm, lots of at the hairdressers! And on that note, hope you feel a million dollars after your visit, am sure you'll look fab! Sorry to hear the DC unwell, hope things get better soon.

Am SO pleased with my hair, both the colour and the cut. I actually think it's one of the nicest cuts I've ever had, although the whole thing took AGES. I even had to go and move my car at one point because the 3-hour maximum time was up!

I did get DD1 to take a before shot yesterday but haven't had a chance to do the after one yet. As soon as I got back I was straight into the dinner and bed routine. Shame, because it definitely won't look as good tomorrow when it's just me styling it!!! 😂 But I will still take one and post them up.

Yes DS2's over his fever, I'd have to go by myself as the DC are too knackered after school. I'd have to go early as we have no car and have to rely on the vagaries of London Transport. I'll sort something out.

Picked DS2 up, went to the park, picked DD up, back home, had steak hash with London porter gravy, the DC are going to bed now.

Glad your DS2 is feeling better, Bath. DD1 was off again today, still has a really sore throats since Friday and no other cold symptoms so took her to the Dr to rule out tonsillitis. Her tonsils are red and swollen but no pus, so hopefully it should go away by itself soon. She's going back to school tomorrow - she was well enough to argue with her sister earlier, so she's well enough for school tomorrow!!!

Discovered my brush is too big for my new haircut this morning. Styling did NOT go well! It's presentable, but still.. New brush ordered from Amazon and I'll post a pic once it's here!

DS2 still teething, still no teeth...😩

DS2 started teething at 3 months, didn't cut his first tooth until 11 months. Probably not what you wanted to hear Malcolm

Poor old DS2 is now so snotty that he has a sore bit under his nose 😟. These teeth have GOT to come through soon, surely?!

Did you make it across town, Bath? Is it easily Tube-able? Did BathsLad try the Zinger fries? I'm eagerly awaiting his opinion!

Nice quiet day for me here. Just doing my jobs and then hoping to be able to sit and crochet while the children rampage around me.

No Malcolm BathsLad's got another bastard chest infection, so he's still in hospital. Thank fuck for Lego and his laptop, otherwise I think he'd go demented.

Oh Bath, that's crap! I'm so sorry for you both. I can't imagine how difficult it must be, both for BathsLad and for you as a family. I only have some very limited experience in that DD2 was in and out of hospital for the first couple of years of her life with severe reflux and failure to thrive. She had lots of investigative procedures and several operations but it was a case of one step forward, two steps back at times. However, the longest stay we had was 8 weeks when she was 4 months old - and that was enough to drive me crazy! However this was in 2008, I don't think I had a smartphone (I think I got my iPhone 3G in 2009) and I'm fairly sure Netflix wasn't invented! I'm glad to hear BathsLad has things to keep himself entertained. Has he made it to the new LEGO shop yet? I'll bet he could spend hundreds, if not thousands, in there!

Hoping he gets his Zinger fries very soon.
