Morning! Tomorrow here too. Although they have to bring in their homemade books today. They're watching Pokémon/playing on tablets frantically finishing them now!

My phone packed up in the middle of the night, even though it was fully charged, DH woke me up over an hour late!

Aaaaand... I've just had a chicken and bacon layered pasta salad for lunch.

Picked DS2 up, he and DD bought cakes from the sale at school, went to the park, picked DD up, in the Sainsbury's café, DS2 had chicken nuggets, chips and peas, DD had a meatball wrap, they shared a double chocolate choux bun and triple chocolate fudge cake for pudding, I had carrot cake.

Phew! Just put down my needle....one very specific cat costume done....and breathe & maybe have small glass of to celebrate

Bath we had fish finger sandwiches tonight. Long day at work and couldn't face cooking something from scratch. Good food for the soul if not the waist

Back home, the DC went to bed straight away, we had roast chicken, laid out costumes, put weekend clothes on the radiators, in bed.

Morning! Yesterday was soooo busy!

DD2 had a fab time at WBD, she loved being in her PJs! I did have a few pangs of guilt when I saw the lengths some other parents had gone to, but she was happy and that's all that matters!

I took DD3 and DA2 to toddlers in the afternoon, they had a great time, although I did have to make an emergency trip home before the school run as DS2 managed to be sick all over his trousers and socks!

After the school run (and a quick change for DD2!) I took DDs 1-3 and DS2 into the city centre. DD2 needed some new school shoes and some boots, DD3 needed new shoes and DD1 needed pretty much an entire wardrobe of clothes as she's now in adult sizes! Plus she's going on a school trip in a few weeks' time and she doesn't have enough clothes for 5/6 separate changes as I usually wash things fairly promptly (plus she's in her uniform 5 days a week).

I had to order DD3's shoes as they didn't have her size in stock, so that means another trip in but at least I can do that during the day.

Spent LOADS of money in Zara for DD1, but it was really good fun!

We had dinner in McDonald's as it was getting late (DS2 had an Ella's Kitchen pouch!) but still didn't get home until 7.45. 😩

Then DS2 was so over-tired he just wouldn't settle, so I had to cuddle him in my bed and ended up starting to fall asleep myself! I was exhausted!

This morning was hellish as all the children were tired. DD1 and 2 just wouldn't stop arguing and then DD3 bounced up into DD1's jaw when she was leaning over her to pick her up, causing DD1 to burst into tears and then refuse to have anything more to do with DD3! 😩

Just dropping DD2 off to school and thenive got Waterbabies with the two little ones this morning and DD2's class assembly this afternoon.

All I want to do is sit on the sofa and do nothing!

I'm knackered just reading that Malcolm!

Hellish day at work but out later so will ease the days stresses. And it's Friday again, yay!

DD3 was utterly HIDEOUS during DD2's assembly. She started off by shouting DD2's name over and over again at the top of her voice as soon as she saw her and things went downhill from there. Trying to keep a nearly-two year old quiet and on your lap when she is utterly determined to do neither of those things is a feat beyond me!

My own personal highlight was when she started shouting her newest word repeatedly. It's the word she uses for "I want that" but, for some reason I will never, ever know, sounds remarkably like "fuck off". Suffice it to say, we spent most of the assembly watching from reception! 😳

Malcolm just take comfort in the fact you can wheel out that anecdote whenever you choose to in the future....18th birthday, first serious boyfriend etc....oh and have some this eve

Malcolm I've only recently managed to convince DS2 that only DH is allowed to say "bucking hell"!

The Gruffalo and Mary Poppins had a great day! DD says "what do you expect, it's World Book Day!"

Morning! In bed, waiting to hear the DC.

Morning all! Woke up at 4.25 😱 and just couldn't get back to sleep properly. Managed to doze on and off until just after 7, when I heard DD3 so just came downstairs with her.

DD1 isn't very well and has lost her voice (miracles do happen!) so no dance for her this morning. Am reserving judgement as to whether she'll be able to go to her flute lesson this afternoon - tbh, I could do with a day of nothing! We'll see how she goes.

DD3 is currently jumping around the furniture...🐵🐒

Went to the Sainsbury's café for breakfast, the DC were in bed by 5, they're permanently knackered at the moment. They go to bed at the same time now, DD needs less sleep but she needs that hour to wind down.

Evening! Had a nice day, didn't do too much! Made a nice change. DD1 is feeling better this evening although her voice hasn't come back properly yet - hasn't stopped her bickering with DD2 though!

Hope everyone else has had a lovely day. How's BathsLad doing, Bath? Has he finished his round of chemo yet? I hope the chest infections have stayed away.
