I had a very mini sort out today. Did a couple of shelves of my clothes. Unfortunately this was trying stuff on and finding out it no longer fits and is never going to fit me again.

Don't have Netflix and I don't think I got S3 on DVD. I may have to have a wander over to Amazon!

We didn't bother with a family argument outing in the end. Pleased yours went well Helen. We opted for family argument board games instead.

No they didn't turn up helen. Apparently a decision was made that tomorrow would be more convenient, but no-one told DD . Ah well, hopefully the fact that I can't provide them with a lift home tomorrow, whereas I could've today, will teach them a lesson about communication. Nothing like a bit of inconvenience to help a reinforce a lesson.

FFS re. DD's friends Fancy We had tomorrow's play date cancelled for DS today - but at least we were told (and they're all illing, so we don't want to share their germs!) Serve them right that you can't give thema lift home.

I've cancelled my 2 week free sky movies trial - only I used it! Thought we would use it lots over Xmas but we didn't at all.
I watched deadpool which was quite funny

Also cancelled my kindle unlimited month trial too - the books available were a bit crap

Badderz - what about saying he can go if wants to but there's no need for him to decide right away so for him to try not to worry about it? How far away is it? Would you be able to stay even though soft play centres are the seventh circle of hell and leave and then come back if he feels comfortable?

Badders Tell him to get a grip and pack him off. (Obviously with more tact than that ) He's going there for a couple of hours with friends - yes? Not for a sleepover?

If you're feeling kind you could take him there beforehand so he knows where he's going?

Well. All back on the straight and narrow and a full month of work. Jeeeez. It's been a big struggle getting up this morning though I have been out for a run and done all my back stretches. .

I DID get to see Sherlock due to tech-neighbour. We all went round to watch it last night 😄. I wasn't entirely convinced by MM as a top secret agent in the first place to be honest, so I think some of this didn't entirely work for me, though I have to say I still adore Gatiss's Mycroft. Cumber-wumber still hasn't topped the hair flick window scene for me.

If you are taking him to the party can you stay badders? Most soft play parties were a bit of a hike for parents in my experience, so it was quite common for a few to stay & have a fucking awful coffee rather than drive home. I would recommend making as little a deal out of it as possible though whatever you decide - parents getting stressed over this kind of stuff just re-inforces the child's belief that it's something to stress over iyswim?
