Am well over this morning's events have given self a bit of a slap and taken a grip from the basket on the bar.

Am surrounded by Christmas carnage. DH is tryign to set up the new Xbox whojamaflip. It's taken 1.5 hours so far and it's not done yet I shall keep my head down... DS is fortunately being very well behaved about it, having been a bit of a grot-bag earlier today, when I dared ask him to change his dirty clothes and wear something clear for lunch. (How very dare I?! )

Most LOL pressie this year... "The Teenager Who Cameto Tea" DH got The Very Hungover Caterpillar Also kudos to my DPs who managed to disguise 3 boxes of lindor as a box of tissue and a new shower head (random packaging to fool me!)

Back to being sociable now - and provide a stiff drink for DH...

Sadly dh has had to take ds1 to the ooh dr as he has raging tonsiltis 😞😞 (2 years to the day since last time!)
So I was up all Xmas eve night with him
As he felt sick and then he was up most of last night too
Have contacted family to cancel the get together today as I'm still not 100% either😷
Anyway, we had a very quiet day watching tv and napping playing games 😊
Dinner was yummy even though poor ds didn't eat much 😞
Just heard the news about poor George Michael - only 53! His poor family! I don't think he ever really got over his mothers death did he?

After minimal sleep in Xmas Eve, DS went ot bed easily, and was then in bed with me again at 6:15 asking if we could get up and play on the xbox which DH did manage to get set up yesterday.

Now he wants me to play Lego Avengers and frankly I have no clue. I will do my best though, and think of madame every time I turn into Hawkeye.

Speaking of Marvel - where/how is Mouse? anyone heard from her recently?

So, it was just us and DS and DD yesterday, which was a first, but very pleasant. DS didn't have his children and DD's hubby and DGS went to his brother's for lunch. Long story but all very amicable. Anyway, we have all of them here today which will be a bit of a nightmare lovely. DS's two are staying overnight, so it will be a long day. Think of me kindly etc.

In passing, wtf has happened to Cadbury's Roses? I didn't buy them last year in protest at the lack of the lovely tin which was so useful for cakes etc. but DH bought them this year. They are unrecognisable in taste, size and appearance.

Sorry DS1 is ill Badders.

And OMG George Michael. I wasn't a huge fan but I did like Wham.
