Right, I've cleared up from the meal, done the second part of the trifle and prepared the turkey for tomorrow. Worst job of the year. I have to pour boiling water over all surfaces afterwards and then Domestos everywhere. I could easily go vegetarian.

It is lovely to have them and ds is very excited to see them, the age gap is huge though, not a great deal of interaction so far. Dss2 is wiped out with a cold too, poor thing.

I also went back to sleep at 7am for a couple of hours, due to DS having decided to join me at 3:33am and then neither of us got any significant amount of sleep between than and 6am, when we gave up and located the stockings (and got rid of the back-end of a mouse and fed the cats)... fortunately DH has all cooking under control. I have to get dressed and take DS out to playground to sto him spending the entire morning glued to the TV.

DS1's new gaming headset doesn't work properly (the mic doesn't work) and the new Kindle Fire I got him is going back as apparently it won't be able to do the things he wants. He's been complaining for weeks how rubbish his tablet is and that it keeps shutting down. So there have been Words. I suppose it's not a proper family holiday without some kind of falling out. The Waltons we are not.

Also, Minions Operation is a lot more difficult than you'd think.
