anyone know Carshalton???

hi all!

going to a wedding this sat... church service is in Carshalton - south london...

me and the dh and dd will be arriving at about miday and the wedding isn't until 3... so we were wondering what carshalton is like... the high street... has it got lots of shops? are there many eateries and if so are they baby friendly? etc etc...

There's stacks of parking so don't worry about that. It's got a huge carpark serving Pizza Hut, the pub, ball pit, nightclub, 10 pin bowling, restaurants, gym and McDs.

sb34, what rotten luck - I hope it doesn't turn out to be hideously expensive for you.

Unfortunately I will be working all of the following week - Peanut, as it's just you and me on Wednesday would you still like to meet up? I'm definitely more than happy to do so, or could you make the Friday, what do you think?

Or we could try and rearrange when Soupdragon and sb34 are available again - but like I said, Wednesday is still OK with me if that's what you would prefer.

sb34, yes I did go (Peanut had had pc problems) and I was there from 10-11.30am - the longer the better to wear ds out! And don't feel bad, either!!! I hope your appointment with dd goes well tomorrow, would be lovely to see you afterwards but don't worry if not.

So, I'm hoping you'll read this before tomorrow as I won't be able to make it.

Explained that a friend of mine was burgled on Tuesday, I found out Weds and she was busy sorting stuff out today so I said I'd go over on Friday.

She's a single mum, miles away from any family.

Sorry, but will attend any other get-together that might be arranged.

OK, I'm going to come clean here... I was at the Play Barn too this morning - I was there with a group of other friends. My 2 were the 2 boys in navy blue T shirts involved with Luke in the "stolen half eaten biscuit" confrontation.

I'm a rather shy person and, without SB34 there to back me up, I was too shy to introduce myself! Pathetic, I know - especially since you didn't have 2 heads or anything
