Our beautiful leather clad lovelies have hung up their pauldrons, wrapped their thighs around their wenches horses and rode hard for the border. There'll be no more snogging in cupboards, or noshing on the Queen...s awful cooking. But we're not sad...oh no, we can keep this nonsense going ad infinitum, and there's plenty to look forward to as the Swaggerers stagger on in post muskie oblivion.

So keep the Cardinals finger flowing, and help yourself to the complementary Hot Chilean Nuts.

Now....S1 Ep1 anyone??

Morning wenches - does Aramis have a blinfold on to block out the shitty weather letus?

Thunder & heavy rain here, lovely. Still it's Friday so that's good

Have good days everyone

Comtess · 16/09/2016 11:01

Hey wenches

Weather finally turned a bit variable here too, though tomorrow looks ok. Still aching from my tri-training, I've really let me fitness slip this year. Mr C is planning a programme for me Grin.

Sorry your back is bad Letus - often problematic for tall folk. You need some yoga in your life!! And check your seat at work isn't causing issues. Are there any HBF yogi's in your areas? Grin

I'm knackered and so have sent twinnos out to get food and am snuggled up with ds4 watching The Hobbit. AT even lush as a hobbit.

Yearning for new Tom info and pics.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/09/2016 11:05

There you go then Fancy you're always complaining about your lack of thunder.

at Madame's virtual snog via breathing the same air as AT.

Is also raining here, but almost all of yesterday's washing extravaganza dried on the line, so there's just a random throw draped inside trying to dry out.

Had a fab time last night, but both came home with horrible back-ache from standing-only concert Sad Fortunately mine has gone overnight, but DH is still on painkillers for his. And DS achieved a sleepover so we got a lie-in. hurrah!!!!!

Hope all wenches are having good days.

LetUs - Aramis has recovered from last night, and has arrived to escort you to your happy place... Grin

Badders Athos says your sore throat can FRO, but he'll help you out with a salty gargle if it helps...

Mmmmmmm
Salty gargle
Nice. Thanks Helen. I have to say a com cert would be my idea of hell now. Give me GBBO and a nice cup of tea any day
It's pissing it down here so washing is still sat in the conservatory
Gah
Comtesse...a triathlon!?
Pics of you in Lycra please.
For important non Pervy purposes obv
👍🏻❤️

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/09/2016 12:25

Google 'green goddess' Badders - I'm sure you'll get the idea Wink

Still raining here too...

LetUsPrey · 16/09/2016 19:04

Evening wenches. I like your HBF yogi suggestion Comtess! Unlikely round here I fear. The last two male osteopaths/chiropractors I saw: one looked a bit like Roy Barraclough from his Corrie days, and the other - well his toupee was a little on the distracting side.

Hurrah for Hobbit watching! Am taking DS2 to watch HP2 at the cinema tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed the concert Helen. I still love going to concerts but yes, my legs and back are reluctant to move much after standing up all evening.

Sunny when I was at work, raining shortly after I got home. Fecking typical.

I wonder if the HBI knows any tension relieving techniques. For my back of course... if he's there that is Grin

JaneElk · 16/09/2016 20:25

Cooooeeeeeee! Just a flying visit to say hi

I've got the MIL staying for a week and I haven't had time to RTFT let alone retain anything. Will try and catch up later.

Evening wenches.

I bet MrC has a fitness programme for you comtess

I do complain about the lack of thunder helen & it seems I missed quite a lot in the night too - if ScaredyCat hadn't woken me up at 5.30am I'd have slept through the bets bits Blush

Properly ROFLing at the distracting toupe letus

Wine needed elk?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/09/2016 22:44

Evening. Yay for gold and broze in 800m, also for gold and silver in the tennis - eventually, one way or the other.

I am tired with a headache so I am taking Athos up to the hayloft to see if he can't distract me Grin

MLGs · 16/09/2016 22:51

Have been watching s2 ep1 and enjoying the general hotness of Aramis.

Also watched the end bit of s 3 finale. It's incredibly cheesy and I know every says it's Disney (which it is), but I can't help enjoying Athos' little speech at the end. It's optimistic, which I like.

And he looks sexy with his little laughter line creases that he's got by s 3 (yes I am talking about Tom/Athos here. Aramis being a given).

MLGs · 16/09/2016 22:53

Am doing dry three weeks of September with Minty, so am not drinking at the moment.

(Don't know why I crossed that out actually as it is only three weeks of September we are doing)

FancyFancy · 16/09/2016 22:54

Yes, wasn't it a fab gold for Hannah Cockcroft?

Night helen

LetUsPrey · 17/09/2016 08:47

Morning wenches.

HBI was there but no back treatment forthcoming - couldn't quite fathom how to put it. I knew where to put it though Grin

My MIL is lovely but a week's visit would have me dipping for cake in a vat of vodka. A visit from XMIL would have seen me on remand.

What MoreLike said re the final episode.

It's a good job there's a medal table because I've no chance of keeping track of all our medals! Incredible!

Taking DS2 swimming and then cinema. Laterz wenches x

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/09/2016 10:17

Morning all. DH and DS are out to SaturdayMorningSportingActivity and I am staying home to do productive things. Mucking about online does not count as a productive thing Sad

Sorry about HBI's lack of telepathy LetUs - Aramis would have known what to do without being asked Wink How is your back feeling now?
There is a BI at SaturdayMorningSportingActivity but he is def. not Hot. He looks like Jeremy Corbyn. Shock and thus provides no opportunities for leching appreciating of his sporting techniques.

So, productive things I ought to do this morning...
Athos
hoovering
Athos
stacking wood
Athos
clearing out dead veg plants from wilderness garden
Athos
have encouraging chat to bees about producing a queen and not dying over winter
Athos
tidying the tip-that-is-our-house
Athos
work
Athos
other stuff...

laters.....

Badders123 · 17/09/2016 10:22

Dh is painting the hall stairs and landing.
He is being an uber dickhead about it so I am staying out of the way
I've earned the bathroom and done the breakfast dishes so ive done my bit for today 😀

MadamedeChevreuse · 17/09/2016 12:40

I may have missed something - what is an HBI???

#acronymfail Blush

Good luck morelike and minty for dry september! Brew not Wine

Is wicked meeting up with anyone in London this weekend? Or have I got that totally confused?

It's a dull weekend of children's birthday parties (not ds) acupuncture and cat to the vets for me - so no London Sad

Patty has gone a bit splatty again. Sad So the vet wouldn't give him his final jabs and gave me this "clay" to give him. To presumably make him shit bricks instead. It went like this.

Vet demonstrates administering of clay by pinning cat down and forcing clay in his mouth.

Cat spits clay out all over vet.

I laugh.

Vet suggests I put clay in cat food instead.

JaneElk · 17/09/2016 12:55

I'm sure it's not too early...

OP posts:
FancyFancy · 17/09/2016 13:57

Not too early at all elk

am spooked that morelike seems to be doing that witchy comtess posting thing - I swear her posts weren't there last night Shock

So true about the medals table letus I did enjoy the relay in the pool last night Smile

Yes ww is in London this weekend madame & I'll be meeting her , think issy is too. Poor Patty Sad. And poor you, hope the clay works. Have you tried the Litter Tray section? One of the regulars is a vet & may have advice too.

LetUsPrey · 17/09/2016 14:19

HBI = hot beardy instructor.

Have heard from CAMHS. They don't think the referral for DS2 is appropriate and they can't assist. They mentioned we can consult a different service which, when I've looked it up, seems totally geared towards under 5s and not for older children. Just so disappointed and back to square one. Sad

FancyFancy · 17/09/2016 14:24

Oh no letus Sad

LetUsPrey · 17/09/2016 14:37

Sorry for downer.

Hope Wicked's having a fab time and there are some properly wenchy meet ups.

Poor Patty The Cat - sometimes reassuring when even the vet can't give the medicine and a bit funny

Badderz - don't suppose I could entice you to clean our bathroom here? Or Helen what about you? Free Athos for the first volunteer.

LetUsPrey · 17/09/2016 16:03

Gold again for Dame Sarah Storey!

What's next up after Dame?!

ApricotCrush · 17/09/2016 16:08

Afternoon!

Sorry about Patty Madame. DD's cat had the same problem when she was young, and she has Royal Canin dry cat food and that sorted it out. She's a Persian though and they often have dietary problems.

Oh dear LetUs, hope you're able to find an answer. Flowers

Have a great weekend WW and those meeting up with her.

More Wine for Elk.
